This was my first time here and I can say I like them already. They were very helpful and attentive to my eye concerns. Mr. Davis conducted my exam with care. Mrs. Beth helped me pick out some cool glasses. Overall my experience was great here at this location.
I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Jerin Joseph and Platinum Eye Care at River City Marketplace. This was, by far, the best experience I’ve ever had with an optometrist. Dr. Joseph is the perfect combination of knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand without making it overly complicated. I never felt rushed, yet the appointment was efficient and right on schedule—a rare combination in healthcare. The technology and equipment were the most modern I’ve experienced, and it was obvious that the practice is committed to providing high-quality care. The exam was thorough, and Dr. Joseph made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire visit. What impressed me most was how genuinely he cares about his patients. He listened, answered every question, and made sure I understood my eye health and vision without overwhelming me with medical jargon. If you’re looking for an eye doctor in Jacksonville, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Jerin Joseph at Platinum Eye Care. He has set the standard for what an eye exam should be, and I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else. Five stars isn’t enough!
My wife recently had an eye exam with Dr. Jerin Joseph from Platinum Eye Care at River City. She had such a good experience and result that she told me for my upcoming exam to make sure I saw him. I had an eye exam with Dr. Joseph at Platinum Eye Care last week and it was an excellent experience. - just as my wife's experience. Dr. Joseph has an excellent 'bedside manner' and put me at ease throughout my eye exam. He answered all my questions, was open to let me know of potential issues in the future and also explained to me the process to correct them. All of this put my heart at ease! Dr. Joseph was very knowledgeable and it gave me confidence in his ability and judgement. I highly recommend Dr. Joseph and will personally use his services in the future!
The receptionist on schedule around 4pm today 10/6/26 reached out to get my insurance info. At the time I was pre occupied and did not have the info on hand. She mentioned if I didn’t provide it today my appointment would be cancelled. That didn’t make any sense when in fact I could just supply my information when I came in. So I informed her to cancel it. Afterwards, said thank you and she hung up on my face.
Everyone was very friendly and nice. Not a long wait at all and have a lot of different glasses to choose from.
