Absolutely amazing. I had the fresh braised corn beef hash. It’s not what you think. Not the salty nasty in the can kind. This was made with LOVEEEE. The biscuit is crispy on the outside and heavenly soft on the inside with 2 type of fresh jam. The atmosphere nice and elegant in an updated older historical building . Great for family great on a budget a hidden gem. Really nice clean marble bathroom and place to change babies..Stop reading this post and GOOOO!!!!
Took my mom to the Roosevelt Room for Mother’s Day and had such a great experience! We were seated super fast with no wait at all. The food was absolutely amazing, and everything we tried was full of flavor. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. We’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu!
Cute place that played Bridgeton music to elevate the experience and better enjoy the ambience with a touch of sophistication. Great service and generous portions. Salt is a bit heavy handed for the cured items i.e. the bacon and corned beef which deterred those who ordered that from finishing their dishes. However, the crab cake benedict was fab and the croque madame was praised. Also I loved that they served a range of juices, particularly pomegranate, compared to others that are limited to apple or orange. It was a shame that I didn't get to try my order of tomato soup as they seemed to have some technical issues making it. Due to their and personal mix ups, we had a few egg mishaps but the server was great in quickly correcting the scrambled to sunny side up eggs without charge for the former and also offered an extra sunny side up egg to make up for our own mistake when confused with the 2 different corned beef dishes. I liked that they were quick to respond and generous in accommodating us, regardless of whose fault it was. I was appreciative of their hospitality and particularly like to acknowledge our friendly server that made our experience very welcoming. There was a wait for walk-in but fortunately they have a SMS system to alert us when our table is ready which gave us time to go shopping. The restaurant is conveniently located in a stretch of interesting boutiques so it was perfect in keeping ourselves occupied with a chance to buy ice cream and souvenirs. It was said to be 15-30 minutes wait but it probably just took 15 mins as we were quick to be seated. I did some research on a couple of places for brunch and rightly, this was the best option with a good variety to satisfy our different tastebuds. Parking is a challenge so street is the best option which we had to circle around 2-3 times. Otherwise, the closest was a $15 parking lot.
We can’t say enough about the Roosevelt Room! From cocktails to dessert, it far exceeded our expectations! We had heirlooms carrots & ricotta with hot honey for an appetizer, filets for dinner, and the fluffiest cheesecake for dessert. The ambiance was lovely, and the service was impeccable. If you’re in the mood for a delicious meal, this is your place!
Roosevelt Room was exactly my speed. The space feels intentional clean, elevated, not trying too hard. One of those places you actually want to linger. Kelly was our waitress and she was genuinely lovely; recommended the churro waffle and it was the right call. Crisp edges, warm center, just enough cinnamon sugar without tipping too sweet. Easy, well-executed brunch. I’d come back.
