Pillar Title Group

I would give it zero if possible. The whole process with them and one of their processors was awful. My mortgage company and realtor met with unreturned emails and phone calls, delays in getting proper paperwork done and sent to the correct people and emails and messages being sent late at night or very early in the morning not during business hours. It took me as the buyer calling and complaining to the office to get movement on paperwork needed for the closing. Then at the closing there was paperwork that needed to be signed by my realtor that had never been sent to him. If you're a seller or agent do not use this company. When confronted with the issues they only made excuses and though I thought they got on to the processor I realized at closing that nothing had changed.

Unfortunately, my experience with Pillar Title Group was not satisfactory. There were several instances of poor service throughout the process, including errors in paperwork, delayed fulfillment of requests, and unexpected junk charges. When I questioned additional fees like changing the name of line items into different names to pay double charges, I was reassured that they would be addressed. However, I was disappointed to find that some fees were ultimately passed on to the sellers. Despite flying in from California for the closing, I found that the company's representatives were not present in the office for our scheduled time. I made it clear that I had to personally ensure that all documents were accurate, and even then, there were scheduling changes and delays. When I contacted Shaye Sawyer regarding questions and overcharges, I was unfortunately met with unprofessional behavior, including yelling and being hung up on. While she later apologized and waived some fees, the overall experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. On top of this, my mom is disabled and their building does not have any handicap accessible measures in place. My mom uses a walker and struggled to get up and down their stairs in the rain. She refused to come back in when I had to return because of the lack of safety and her feet sliding. I would not recommend Pillar Title Group to others.

Awful experience when closing for a home. Our warranty documents were never submitted to the warranty company, and it takes numerous contract attempts to reach anyone here. Please avoid at all costs.
