I was referred to Todd by Dr. Schultz after receiving a procedure. I came in dealing with symptoms related to cranial cervical instability, which I have been dealing with for many years. I was skeptical of online therapy, but there are no PT’s near me that work with patients with CCI. From the very beginning, Jennifer was so nice and helpful in scheduling and any questions I had. Todd took the time to truly listen, he understood my symptoms, which isn’t always the case, and he explained what was going on in a way that made sense. Todd starts slow, increasing posture and gives lifestyle changing exercises with an incredible depth of knowledge and attention to detail. The thing that stands out for me is that Todd is incredibly careful to work within my limits while still helping me build strength and stability in a safe, progressive way that I felt comfortable with. I’ve especially appreciated how he focused on the bigger picture—posture, alignment, and daily habits—not just what happens during the appointment. He gives me practical tools I can use at home and work, which has made a real difference in managing my symptoms day to day. My family and friends have noticed a huge difference in my posture and many of my symptoms have improved so much, I feel like I’ve got my life back! If you’re dealing with cranial cervical instability or any complex neck-related issue, I highly recommend working with Physical Therapy By Demand.
I adore working with Todd. He completely understands the human body, especially those with upper cervical instability. My posture greatly improved with the gentle exercises I first watched in his clear-to-understand videos, and then during each one-on-one class - all done via Zoom. (A bonus is, he and his team are well organized with lots of email & text reminders)
I cannot say enough about the impact this physical therapy program has had on my quality of life. I have been dealing with chronic headaches for over 16 years related to Craniocervical Instability, and after seeing at least 15 different physical therapists and specialists over that time, with many treatments actually making my symptoms worse. This experience has been completely different. The biggest shift for me has been learning how much alignment and posture matter. Rather than pushing exercises or forcing movement, this approach focused on helping me understand my own body and make small adjustments that reduce strain and improve stability. After about three months, I have been able to significantly reduce, and at times completely eliminate debilitating headaches that I have lived with for over a decade and a half. If you have a craniocervical instability that hasn’t responded well to traditional approaches, I highly recommend giving this type of care a chance.
Working with Todd has helped understand how to function and rehab from CCI & adhesive capsulitis . It was very frustrating working with other physical therapist who don’t understand the complexity of cci. We still have work to do so listen to your body and give Todd feed back he’ll guide you through it . Not easy but it works be patient.
I highly recommend working with Todd Ball. He’s an outstanding physical therapist — probably one of the most knowledgeable providers when it comes to treating CCI (craniocervical instability) patients. What makes Todd truly exceptional is his ability to help you work out safely without flaring your symptoms — something that’s extremely rare for people dealing with CCI. He focuses first on restoring neutral posture before introducing any neck exercises, as proper alignment is the foundation for healing. Poor posture places tremendous stress on the cervical ligaments, and Todd’s approach directly addresses that. For those with an atlas misalignment and without access to an upper cervical chiropractor, he can even teach you a step-by-step self-correction technique to gently realign it. Of course, this isn’t a quick fix — it takes time, daily practice, and dedication. But Todd guides you every step of the way with patience, precision, and genuine care. The sessions are done via Zoom, so you can work with him from anywhere in the world. It’s just as effective as in-person sessions since Todd pays close attention to every detail of your posture and even provides screenshots as visual feedback when needed. Working with him has truly been worth it.
