Dr Phillip Rothberg is absolutely fantastic. Excellent appointments pre-op for a hernia surgery and the actual surgery was fantastic and flawless. I’ve had a fast recovery and would highly recommend Dr Rothberg and North Florida Surgeons for anyone needing to discuss any surgical procedure.

My husband had a partial gallbladder by a dr. He had been suffering with gallbladder symptoms for over a year. The dr who did his surgery told him it was not his gallbladder. He was also seen by his partner and he told him it was not his gallbladder. My husband was sent home and 2days later I took him back to the hospital. He had a fever and was septic. He was seen by a Dr in ER Dr. Wahl. He was exceptional. He told us he knew a great surgeon who was Dr Philip Rothberg. Dr Rothberg was beyond brilliant. He listened to my husbands symptoms. Did a few tests and he did a total gallbladder surgery. My husband is totally well after a year of suffering and no one would listen. Sometimes it is not all about the test results but the whole picture. My husbands gallbladder had gangrene by the biopsy results. If you ever need a surgeon Dr Rothberg is the one. He is knowledgeable, skilled, and treats the whole person. I am a retired nurse and I couldn’t believe some of the incompetent care my husband received prior to meeting Dr Rothberg. Thank you Dr. Rothberg and your team for giving excellent care. We are forever grateful.

Dr Rothberg is absolutely FABULOUS as well as his assistant Emily. My experience was amazing and I highly recommend Dr Rothberg and staff at the new location in Jacksonville off county road #210 in St John's County. Lisa was also amazing as well as the other ladies at the front desk. I can't say it enough how FABULOUS my experience was from start to finish!! Thank you again....

Am a medical doctor with over 25 years of experience in practice. Met him as inpatient for what was an impending surgery, although we didn’t agree much over results we agreed on the procedure. He did everything possible to keep me in check for the best outcome. He understood and knows how bad medical providers are as patients. I will most certainly be an advocate and will refer patients to his care!
