My son has been a patient of Dr. Yasin's for 7 years. She is a wonderful pediatrician. Dr. Yasin always takes her time to speak to both my son and I regarding his health and well-being. Dr. Yasin has a relaxed way of speaking which helps both parent and child to feel comfortable and open to discussion. She never rushes her exams; rather she takes her time and is quite thorough. She is always ready to help with any and all health related issues as well as to help me, as a mom, feel at ease when it comes to helping my child heal and feel better. Her advice of what to do and how to treat any and all ailments is always spot on and extremely helpful. Dr. Yasin is knowledgeable in more ways than just regular medicine and pediatric care. She constantly has advice for how to care for certain ailments in so many ways in order to find the best treatment for each and every issue. Dr. Yasin is always so friendly and welcoming. I have never seen her without a smile on her face of a melodic tone of voice. She speaks to my son as well as to me. She allows my child to feel that he is important and helps him understand that he has the right to express his feelings and explain his problems. She speaks to both of us with respect and kindness. She makes us feel like family. Dr. Yasin listens carefully as we tell her our concerns and she does not simply throw out a pat answer or just prescribe medication. She takes the time to think about what we have told her and she finds the best way to help us in order to have my son feeling better as quickly as possible. She offers us natural ideas to sooth certain issues and will prescribe the best medications when necessary. She is always ready to provide us with sample lotions, creams, body washes, etc. before we spend money, in order to find out whether these will be a good answer to any of our situations. Dr. Yasin is an exceptionally dedicated physician who clearly loves her job and the children she cares for each day. She has spoken with me on the phone/or via video call, whenever I had questions that needed answers rather than insisting I make an appointment; this helped me know that she was truly interested in my concerns rather than, "making a quick buck!" I am truly appreciative of the care and love Dr. Yasin has shown my child for the past seven years. We feel truly lucky to have found her and we are extremely grateful for all of the care she has provided. We absolutely adore her!
Absolutely awful doctor! She will completely ignore anything you have to say or any concerns!! I have no clue how she still has her license to be a doctor. She had ignored everything I had told her and repeatedly told me the same useless information. My son is now 2 months old and with a new doctor after doctor Yasin had completely ignore everything and eventually put my son in the hospital because she wouldn't listen to me or anything o had to say about my son. She recommended me to take him back to wolfsons and they said to NEVER take my son back to her because she clearly doesn't know what she's doing. The other doctor there though is great from the 2 encounters I had with her. My son was a weekly patient so I've had more than enough with doctor Yasin. You can hardly understand her half the time and she just completely sucks and is rude. The front desk is great, they're the only reason we mainly kept going to her. I never wanted to take my son to her but I had to wait until I got his Medicaid card to change his doctor. Doctor Yasin had given my little sister her 2 month shots 3 TIMES when she was little. And they sucked at weighing him properly and measuring him. I highly do not recommend taking your child to her! Maybe older kids just for check ups yearly but not babies! Try to get your newborns to someone else, just don't see doctor Yasin. Me and my son have had an awful experience with her! We love the front desk staff though and will miss them dearly♡ definitely will not miss doctor Yasin though!!!
I would a 100% recommend Dr. Yasin as a pediatrician for your children. She is the most compassionate, caring and knowledgeable Dr I have come across in a very long time. She has been amazing with diagnosing and treating my newborn with severe cows milk allergy and reflux when other doctors failed. She is very kind and my daughter absolutely loves her. The office is going to under some construction which is why other people are complaining but the office has made us aware and excused for the work being done. If you are looking for excellent care for your family look no further. Dr. Yasin is hands down the best.
I ONLY LOVE THE UP FRONT STAFF THEY ARE WHAT MAKES THIS PLACE RUN! Wonderful wonderful women up front, they know how to talk to any parent. They are just on point, I mean they remodeled the up front part and had to deal with so much! Yasin is a Kook but unfortunately she takes any insurance, if you need a PCP, and have TONS of patience, please give this place some chance. I love the other doctor and the ladies up front YOU ARE DOING GREAT ! love you all.
I’ll start by saying Dr Yasin is not at all breast feeding friendly and will push formula right from the start. She also sent my two month old to early intervention because she could not bear weight on her legs. At 2 months! My daughter started walking at 12 months and is now an active & healthy 15 month old. She has a very old way of thinking and questioned me when I said i wouldn’t give her rice cereal at 4 months old, studies now show no solid food until 6 months. Take the day off if you go here, because you will wait 2 hours even with an appointment. Office is also old and dirty. We switched months ago and love our new Dr and office staff.
