My daughter’s appointment itself was fine, and most of the staff were pleasant, but unfortunately, my experience with two staff members one being the manager was very unprofessional. The check-in link sent to my phone wasn’t working and kept kicking me out. During the entire appointment, no one informed me that the check-in still needed to be completed. Even while I waited for about 30 minutes after my daughter’s eyes were dilated, no one mentioned it. It wasn’t until I was trying to check out and leave to pick up my other daughter from school that I was told I needed to finish it. When I explained that the link wasn’t working, the staff member responded sarcastically and told me that I should have informed them. I understand that I could have said something, but I have been bringing my daughter to this office for a couple of years and have never experienced this issue before. If something was incomplete, the staff could have communicated that to me at any point during the appointment instead of waiting until I was leaving. When I asked the manager if there was anyone above her whom I could speak with, she rudely responded, “No.” The tone and attitude from both staff members made me feel as though I were being spoken to like a child instead of a parent and longtime patient. The issue could have been resolved easily with clear communication and respectful customer service. Patients and parents deserve to be spoken to professionally, especially by management. Thankfully, they will no longer be accepting my daughter’s insurance, so we will be taking our business elsewhere. After today’s experience, I truly believe that was nothing but God redirecting us to a better office.

Dr. Duss did a great job with my daughter's eye surgery. we are greatful for the excellent care provided. The one only area that could use improvement is communication with the office. During the process, it was someone's difficult to reach someone and get add'l info or answers to questions

Dr. Duss and staff are a great team. They know how to work with kids. They are proficient and efficient. Appointments start on time and you are given great service. Dr. Duss gives great details on what, how and why she is doing something. She has helped my son regain full control of eyes, which will allow him to be more confident as he ages.

Our family had a wonderful experience with our son’s strabismus surgery. From the initial consultation through the surgery and recovery, Dr. Duss was fantastic. The surgery went extremely well, and we were very pleased with his recovery and results. It has been wonderful to see the positive difference the procedure has made for him and his confidence. I would highly recommend them to any family considering strabismus surgery for their child.
