My four children, Amir, Youse, Yaqub, and Yazn, have been patients at this clinic for several years, and I can honestly say that this is one of the best pediatric clinics in Jacksonville. Every doctor, provider, and staff member—especially the wonderful ladies at the front office—has always been kind, caring, professional, and incredibly helpful. Everyone treats my children with genuine care and respect, and the service has always been outstanding. We are truly grateful for everything they do for our family. They all deserve to be recognized as stars ⭐️ because they go above and beyond to provide excellent care. Thank you to the entire team for your amazing service and for always making us feel welcomed and cared for. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful pediatric clinic for our children! ❤️
Comfortable feeling place when you have to be there for any stretch of time with a sick little loved one. The staff are very friendly and knows how to help calm down and anxious or crying little one. Plenty of seating and they seem to move pretty quickly. I think we worrying for only about 4-5 minutes. They were very professional and know their stuff. I believe. They were saying medical monikers that everybody else understood. Nothing but good things to say - I love it here.
First time visit since we moved here at the beginning of this year. Absolutely outstanding. I had questions and they gave me great answers, advice, and other tools for this year. She talked to each of them one on one and just reassured them that it would be quick and easy. Plus, the sticker! But overall outstanding.
We are first-time patients here with our newborn, and while Dr. Laos was amazing, the overall experience was disappointing. Our appointment was at 9:00 AM, but we were not seen until after 10:00 AM. That is a very long wait, especially when you have a newborn. Unfortunately, the experience at checkout made things even worse. Whoever scheduled my appointment over the phone apparently noted Spanish on my paperwork. The checkout staff initially spoke to me in Spanish, and when she realized I didn’t speak Spanish, she switched to English. I apologized and explained that I don’t speak Spanish, and her response was, verbatim, “It says Spanish on your paperwork, SO.” The tone and way she said it came across as extremely rude and unnecessary. I have absolutely no issue with anyone speaking Spanish to me, I simply cannot respond in Spanish. What bothered me was the dismissive and disrespectful comment. As a first-time patient, this was not the welcoming experience I expected. Dr. Laos was wonderful, but unfortunately, the long wait and the interaction with the checkout staff left a very negative impression. I was also expecting to receive a survey after the visit, but I never received one, so I decided to share my experience here instead.
My son has been a patient at this location since 2019, and the staff has always been kind. Unfortunately, over the past two years, long wait times have become a recurring issue, and our most recent visit today was the worst yet. His appointment was at 8:35 a.m. We arrived early and completed online check-in, yet we weren't taken back to a room until well after our scheduled time. Once there, we were told the doctor still had two patients ahead of us. How is that possible for one of the first appointments of the morning? We didn't see the doctor until after 9:40am and didn't leave until 10:15am nearly two hours for a routine visit. Delays happen occasionally, and I understand that. But when it happens this consistently, it points to overbooking. Parents take time off work and pull kids out of school for these appointments. Please schedule patients realistically instead of packing the calendar and leaving families to wait. I'd love to see this improve, because the care itself has kept us here this long. UPDATE: I appreciate the response, but it's the same copy-and-paste reply given to nearly every low review here. Asking parents to email customer service isn't the answer when over 100 reviews describe the same problem. The issue isn't a single bad visit. It's how appointments are scheduled. Someone's job is to manage that schedule, and the fix needs to happen internally. Acknowledging complaints without making changes doesn't mean much to families who keep waiting over an hour past their appointment time.
