DO NOT MOVE HERE! We initially picked this complex due to affordability, now they are skyrocketing our rent. Was given the option to email the property manager who asked me to send an offer, never received anything back, even after sending a follow up email as well. Was forced to renew the lease or be charged $2000 monthly because I was waiting on the property manager to get back to me. It's been over a month and I still have not heard back. Now they’re charging me $13 for “insurance coverage”? I have contacted the office THREE TIMES about this and was told it would drop.. they took $3 off. Absolutely not. I have had no gaps in my renters insurance to be charged for anything additional. My rent increase was near 10% which is laughable. These apartments are NOT worth the price they’re charging. For just $100 more (on top of my already $125 rent increase) I could get a luxury apartment with better amenities, better structure, better staff, better maintenance, better appliances, and a better community. Their $25 trash fee is hilarious, luxury apartments charge this price for VALET TRASH, not to take our own trash to a trash compactor. This place is way too trashy to be thinking they can charge luxury apartment prices. You would think with all the car break ins, cops through the complex, outdated units, and package thief’s, the rent would be cheap/affordable.. nope. This complex is the definition of “landlord special” they just paint over everything and it looks horrible! The paint keeps chipping and they even paint over the previous tenants hairs. So disgusting!! I will add pictures of just my bathroom. No matter how hard and how long I deep clean, it still looks dirty and gross!! These people are so money crazy they will make up any stupid reason to get more money out of you. Can’t WAIT to move out of here, never been so excited!!!
STAY AWAY!!! Living here is gross and disgusting, they charge ridiculous fees for no reasons and never fix a damn thing. Crawling with bugs and roaches even with a monthly pest fee. Gym was always broken and dirty, dog parks are never maintained and have holes in the fence. Save yourself the headache and don’t move here!
I wanted to leave a post to share how wonderful the maintenance staff is here at Paradise Island. The person I deal with the most is Juan. He has always super kind and especially considerate. And the most important thing is he always fixes my problem!! I also want to give a shout out to whoever takes care of the dumpsters. Because that is a horrible job because of people being so rude leaving stuff all over the ground, instead of inside compactor -even when the dumpster is open. So rude of tenants to do that.
I lived here for 13 months and absolutely loved the property. The amenities are in surplus. And the team is great. Tracy the manager was absolutely phenomenal - always so helpful and knowledgeable. Maintenance team is always quick to respond to my requests. I would have stayed had I of not bought a house.
We toured this place last week and had such a great experience with Leighanna! She was incredibly helpful, answered all of our questions, and really listened to what we were looking for. She showed us exactly what we had in mind and made the entire conversation feel easy and comfortable and never rushed or pushy. Leighanna was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel like she cared about helping us find the right fit. We really appreciated her time and would definitely recommend touring this place to see if it’s a good fit for you
