It's a good park overall. They even a youth football league that plays every weekend or so. The people are generally nice but I wouldn't go around there at night unless you are familiar with the local night life people there. During the day, nice looking.....at night, the crack heads and beer bottles come alive. Visit at your own risk
I take my son to this park all the time because its a walks distance but thats the only reason. There is always trash every where , the play ground has a piece of wood nailed to it to cover a broken area , theres graffiti all over the place, bathrooms are almost unusable, and last but not least of all i have cut my own hand on rusted metal sticking up on the playground set... My child plays here but i have to worry about him getting cut on the playground or getting stuck by a nail from the wooden board plasted up... Wouldn't be coming here if it wasnt so close to my house. Please Jacksonville do something about this park
Nice park, has splash pad for the kids and play ground.
We like to use the basketball courts and tennis courts. Its nice to have a park near my home. Its nice that there is a convenience store across the street from the park too.
Love this park. Need more enforcements to keep it clean and it needs to be visited at night for safety. But it's good for the community. Cleaning is a huge factor.
