Dr. Amy Connell has been an absolute godsend! At a time when I felt completely failed by the medical system, she was the only one who genuinely cared, listened, and stepped up to manage my condition. She immediately ordered blood tests and threw herself into finding answers, exhausting every possible avenue including holistic, preventative, and medical alike to get me the care and referrals I desperately needed. Where modern medicine so often feels rushed and detached, Dr. Amy Connoll treats you like family. Her engagement, responsiveness, and genuine concern are unmatched. She has even personally called me on several occasions by phone to check on me. Physically and psychologically, I was at a point where I wanted to give up advocating for myself, but her unwavering, consistent support kept me going. She is a deeply compassionate provider and person who walks in her Christian faith through her actions. I thank God for her every single day!! If you are looking for a practitioner who offers brilliant medical care, values holistic health, and truly treats her patients with real, human love, look no further. She is one in a million!!! THANK YOU DR CONNOLL!!!!!
I have been a patient at Palms Medical Group in Fleming Island for over a year, and I am beyond frustrated with the complete lack of urgency, communication, and accountability. While dealing with abnormal breast findings, I have had to call OVER AND OVER, every single day, just to get referrals for a biopsy. It took around THREE WEEKS just to get my biopsy referral handled. Then it was excuse after excuse: “It wasn’t faxed,” “They didn’t receive it,” “You need to call someone else.” You never speak to the same person, and nobody seems to know what anyone else is doing. Meanwhile, I’m the patient dealing with something scary and having to chase down my own medical care. The ONLY person who finally stepped up and actually helped me was Glorianne. She listened, took my concerns seriously, and helped me get things moving after I had spent an unbelievable amount of time calling and getting nowhere. I am extremely grateful to her because she was the one person who made me feel like someone actually cared about what I was going through. The final straw was my biopsy results. I found out my own results BEFORE Palms Medical Group even called me. I already knew my results and what my next steps needed to be. About 24 hours later, the office finally contacted me...and that was AFTER I had already been calling trying to get someone to speak with me. That is completely unacceptable. I should not have to be my own referral coordinator. I should not have to make daily phone calls, track down paperwork, figure out whether referrals were actually faxed, and practically beg people to follow up..especially when I am dealing with biopsies and abnormal breast findings. Being “busy” is not an excuse for this level of disorganization. When someone's health is potentially on the line, TIME MATTERS. Communication matters. Follow-through matters. Aside from Glorianne, who deserves recognition for actually helping me, this entire experience has left me angry, exhausted, and completely fed up. Patients should not have to fight this hard just to receive basic medical care and communication. I will be changing doctors immediately.
It has been a little over a year they moved from orange Park to Fleming Island and I love the new office/pharmacy Dr Richie was great as always as well as his nurse Jaree . Please excuse my spelling of their names. But it was worth the drive . Thanks Palm medical group ❤️ I also wanted to thank the receptionists and the pharmacist Elizabeth she was very helpful in ensuring that I can have medicines mailed to me. And Elizabeth went over and beyond to make sure she got the proper medicine capsule instead of tablet so my insurance covered it. Thanks Palm medical group staff
There is absolutely no way to contact the office. I have to contact an 800 number, and she has her hands tied behind her back. She can only schedule appointments. Who's ever heard of not being able to contact the doctor's office ? I asked my provider for a laxative and she thought I was a drug addict. Plus she treated me like I have a mental condition because I am on weight loss shots. She is very paranoid, rude, and incompetent. A patient should never be talked down to. I will never go back!
Alexandra Baker is literally the best doctor I’ve ever had across any other place I’ve been. She’s actually attentive, listens to every single problem and gives me a solution, and if that solution doesn’t work out she finds another one. She’s genuinely the best at what she does.
