Dr. Monzon is amazing! I have taken my 89 year old Mom there for years and I am grateful that he is the only reason why she is able to live independently despite her chronic pain issues. He can do minimally invasive procedures in his office and he is very conscientious when it comes to treatment options. I work for a Primary Care Provide and he has a minimally invasive treatment for herniated discs that helps our patients avoid major spinal procedures. Highly recommend.
Dr Monzon is the best. He figured out the source of my spine problems as located at C2 cervical spine and is scheduling an injection procedure. Dr Patel helped me with an injection and told me I had a pinched nerve in auto fusion c56 but she had a bad reaction to my complaint about Dr Nicolas Bremmer at Jax spine so she wouldn't respond to my voicemail asking for another appointment. Dr Patel said go to physical therapy and then ask me about Botox. Dr Monzon said insurance doesn't cover that. He said ablation may help me. I look forward to seeing Dr Monzon again because he's the best Dr I've ever spoken to and I've been trying to get relief since my whiplash injury 1975 and compression injury 1983 and compression fracture 2025. I got the injection 8.11.2026 and it was very helpful. I thought I needed Botox but did more research and it can be more trouble than it's worth because it can cause trouble with swallowing and too much weakness. Thanks doctor Monzon for knowing the best treatment.
Dr Monzon is the only pain specialists I would recommend to go to in the St Augustine area. His staff and his personal attention to me was outstanding. If you are looking for the best, don’t waste your time and money with the others in the area. Dr Monzon is the only competent pain specialist in STA in my experience.
He is one of the most caring, knowledgeable, friendly and interactive physicians I have ever had the honor and pleasure of seeing. He has helped me with my chronic back pain for 24 years and now helps my husband. He spends as much time as you need and explains everything!! He’s amazing and I would recommend him unequivocally!
When I moved to St Augustine I was suffering from Siatica, Spinal Stenosis and Arthritis in my lower back. As you can imagine I was in constant pain and Dr Monzon was referred to me by my primary doctor. He has given me my life back. I had the MILD procedure which he thoroughly explained to me before hand. I have been looking for a solution for years to no avail other spinal fusion surgery. Every one in his office go above and beyond to help you and make you comfortable with your choice. If you are suffering with back pain, I highly recommend Dr Monzon.
