We have used P&S Harvey Appliance twice. The 1st time was to assess an older refrigerator to either repair or replace. Paul’s honest opinion led us to replace. The 2nd service required a conversion kit on a gas dryer and a look at the new fridge to see why it was not dispensing ice. Again, Paul’s honest opinion required no repair to the fridge, just some time to let it thaw after correcting the temperature setting. That tells me that this company is there to help with the problem and not to do unnecessary repair. Additionally, the whole experience from setting up the appointment through payment was easy, friendly and professional. I definitely recommend P&S Harvey’s for your appliance needs.
Apparently my first comment has been removed. I called to have an estimation for my washer as it was throwing two codes. I did the research on the cost of the part which came out to $50. When they came out they were two hours late. They spent less than five minutes to tell me what is wrong and charged me $90. I asked them for a quote on the repair, and they said they would call me that day. After receiving no call back, I called them. He told me that it could fix it for $390 on top of the $90 that I already paid. It was obvious, being a person of color, by the look on his face that he didn't even want to be there. I fixed the machine in less than 15 minutes for $50 by myself! They seem to be the only appliance repair in the area aka monopolized and clearly racist!
Very responsive through text and calls. The service was quick and great. They came and diagnosed the problem and once the part came in a few days later they came back and fixed the dryer with no problems. I also feel they went the extra mile and cleaned out my dryer exhaust and around the outside vent. Very appreciative of the service and would definitely recommend them for any appliance repair needs.
Called the last hr of business and asked if they had a washer and dryer for sale, Mr. Harvey proceeded to tell me what he had available and that he closes in a hour! So I and the wife were about a mile away from the store and when we arrived Mr. Harvey greeted us with pleasant vibes and told us plenty about the appliances in question. So we decided to do business with him because of his attitude and knowledge of the business also his wife had told him to stay until time at 4:30 because he was ready to leave right before we called! It was meant to be money well spent….
If your looking for a honest and reliable person. Call P and S. Mr Paul repaired my washer. Had to order a part. Within a few days the part was in and installed. Fast service. Thx Mr P
