Looking back on my time at UNF, I’m most thankful for Osprey Outreach. It quickly became more than just a community, it became family. Through every season, I knew I would be consistently pointed toward Jesus. If you’re searching for a genuine, Christ-centered, church-rooted community, look no further.
I joined Osprey Outreach in August of my senior year with very low expectations because everyone’s typically embedded in their own circles by then, but I was shocked to find them welcoming me with open arms at the very first event I showed up at. It’s such a biblically sound ministry led by the most intentional staff and student leaders. I got to lead worship, share my testimony, have accountability and vulnerable conversations in a senior girls small group, and go on my first ever mission trip to Costa Rica. If you’re hesitant to get involved in a campus ministry at UNF, OO is full of the sweetest people who welcome curiosity and get you plugged in right away so you can know more about Jesus and grow deeper in your faith! My senior year and relationship with the Lord was made so much richer because of Osprey Outreach.
I love Osprey Outreach! OO is how I met nearly all my friends at UNF. OO will always be near and dear to my heart even though I’ve since graduated! The people who organize and run OO are wonderful, caring people. It is a campus ministry that will provide students a fantastic opportunity to learn about the Gospel and dive deeper into the Bible. It is also a ton of fun and never stuffy! I am thankful everyday that I decided to try OO when I heard about them through my church!
I joined Osprey Outreach in 2022 as a sophomore in college. Osprey Outreach was a huge blessing in my life and definitely helped me grow in my faith as a college student at UNF. The staff and the leaders are amazing. Osprey Outreach is a special campus ministry and I would recommend checking it out.
I’ve found life long friends at Osprey Outreach. If you’re a college student looking to grow in your faith, this is the group to do it with. Swoop!
