I highly recommend Dr. Phillip Bell! I’d been contemplating TKR for a few years and have seen a few other physicians that I just wasn’t comfortable with. A good friend who recently had TKR recommended Dr. Bell. I immediately made an appointment. The moment I met him I knew I had finally walked into the right place. He is very professional, compassionate and was matter of fact that since all else has failed that it’s time for surgery. I’ve been dreading this for years but I knew I was in good hands. The constant support from his office, Catherine, to be percise and Baptist Medical has been incredible by scheduling appointments, after care, providing literature and daily videos of what to expect before and after surgery. I’m 3 weeks out, scar is minimal, ROM is currently at 112, walking unassisted and driving since week 2. I can say that when you go into this, go in fully committed with your post-op for this to be a full success. Thank you, Dr. Bell for giving back my life!

Everyone I encountered during my PostOp visit today was kind, understanding, professional, knowledgeable and " timely". Dr. Bell permitted us to take photos of surgery. I was in and out of the office ... Very quickly. All my questions were answered in language l understood. I left with a greater understanding of what I need to do for continued progress ... and I know the time and date of my next appointment. FEELING thankful and blessed. RJTH
Dr. Bell and his nurse Catherine are truly the Best of the Best in every respect! The OSJ receptionists, x-ray technicians, and other OSJ team members are all extremely skilled, professional, and cheerful. On the rare occasion that the appointments are behind schedule, it doesn’t matter at all. The people make the wait worthwhile. Thank you Dr. Bell for my perfect hip replacement! Thank you Catherine for being you!
From check in to discharge everyone was kind and professional! Dr Steinberg has been my physician since 2009 and I recommend him to everyone including strangers. This I'm sure contributes to a little bit of wait time once you arrive at his office, which is worth the wait! He and his staff are extremely informative. They listen to you, give you a plan, and you decide the course of treatment you want to take. Dr Steinberg is conservative in his course of treatment, not quick to jump to surgery. If he tells you surgery is the option to take, please consider that strongly. Hope this helps you in deciding to see Dr Steinberg.
Dr. Savarese is absolutely amazing. He truly cares about his patience. I have seen him several times over the last 10 years and every time I have received above excellent care. He is the only doctor I would ever allow to do an injection on my special-needs son.
