Old Jail After Dark

We had the best time on the after dark tour. The tour ran from midnight to 2:30 am. Our tour was just 4 of us and our EXTREMELY helpful, knowledgeable guide Fran. Fran was so wonderful helping us with all the the materials we were using and giving us information on what we were hearing/seeing/feeling. We were able to all walk around wherever we wanted but we all choose to stay together because we were all getting reading from the same place. It was definitely worth the money and definitely had a scare factor. 100% will go back and do it again next time.

My boyfriend and I went in the last week of December 2025. I wanted to leave a a review right away, but time got away from me... I loved this. As a skeptic, I think it was fun, informative and just overall a great experience. I cant really pinpoint anything supernatural that happened to me, but I have my internal spookydoor firmly shut with no cracks and I wasnt open to letting myself experience any spookiness. (I'm a firm believer if you believe, you open yourself up and i've seen too many horror movies to give up my safe boring life for a single fun night out 😅) But I will say this. I battle with depression and all the anti depressants I try work for between 2 weeks to a month, and then i'm back to feeling anxious, randomly guilty for no reason, raw and apathetic at the same time. When the effectiveness runs dry, I usually ween myself off because i don't suffer nearly as bad as other people and I can muddle through it usually with understanding that it's "just" a chemical imbalance and the safety net that I can get a couple weeks reprieve when things get too much. During our trip, I was getting close to the "too much" threshold. Insecurities, a nasty inner voice, that dang guilty feeling 24/7. But then, the longer we stayed the guilty feeling slowly started going away. Then the anxiety about existing, and finally, the mean portion of my inner voice started getting quieter and quieter... and the calmess lasted for a solid couple weeks after we returned home. It bought me 4 months before I needed a break from myself again. Now, is it supernatural, or was it my brain being very coincidentally weird on my birthday? Who knows. But I do know, I think i'm going to make this a birthday tradition. 10/10. Our guide was a very nice young lady with green hair(it was dark, so maybe blue?) and I think her name started with a D? Amazing. Very informative. Very willing to talk about her experiences with zero discernible judgement for me being closed off. If you're reading this, i'm the girl who had a snake drop on her shoulder hugging a tree as a youngling in my brief foray into experimenting with other religions (this one being early 2000's Wicca lol) before settling in the not quite atheist, not quite agnostic camp. You were awesome. I hope you're there again end of 2026 ❤️

If you’re into spooky things and the paranormal, I would recommend this. A super fun and safe experience. We have Theresa, she explained everything in detail, made you feel comfortable, open to questions and helping out through the process. The equipment is provided. You have the opportunity to walk through the jail at night, which is very cool. You can take pictures and video. The groups are small which make it a more intimate experience. It was definitely spooky. Go with an open mind.

We had an extraordinary time. There was just us two and Fran, our paranormal investigator. The investigation started outside with a briefing of what to expect from Fran. We heard a noise, we tried to debunk it. Went inside and got acclimated to the gear and the spirits started interactions. We had so many interactions with the gear, mostly in the deputies room and the bedroom upstairs. General population area had a few encounters. We didn't get touched, sratched or anything that seemed melovolent throughout our investigation. I have several videos of the interactions with the equipment that I'll send to the team there, after I edit them for length. The spirts drained the batteries of 4 different pieces of equipment. Definitely recommend this and we will return. Fran was awesome and he was surprised by all of the activities, and amount we had during our investigation.
