Known Dr Eisenberg for 30 years. Was my two daughters' pediatrician & is now my grandsons dr. Extremely intelligent & will keep the children's best interest at all times. Her interaction with the children is delightful. They love her. Won't find another one as good.
MEDICAID DISCRIMINATION Called office on 8/9/22 at 2:12 to schedule a new patient visit for my kids. The receptionist said they were accepting new patients for physicals until I provided the insurance (Humana Medicaid) her entire tone changed & she informed me “we are done accepting med patients for the yr) only accepting physicals on birthdays. I told her my kids DOB we’re Oct & Nov so that is perfect. She then changed it again & said to call back in Oct to see if there’s any slots. I asked what was the policy for appts/Physicals & she said “we are only accepting private insurance Medicaid patients are filled in if there is a cancellation.” (So pretty much keep calling & begging for a spot until you get one. I called to change there PCP also reported to the state! Wouldn’t want my kids under the care of a practice that discriminates based on patients insurance!! Why accept it than treat people like 2nd class citizens!!
Worse Dr. Ever and threatened me with dcf. Long story short my kid had red marks after seeing this Dr. My kids breast fed and 3oz under weight. Whats the issue the other Dr said weights fine. Never take your child here.
My sister and I's pediatrician when we were younger and now she is my children's doctor. She will educate you and she always has your child's best interest at heart. Her approach may be different but it's accurate . Wouldn't trade her for the world
We used to go there 4 years ago and loved Dr. Eisenberg. If we ever go back to Jacksonville, definitely will be back. She is very observant.
