Ocean House Condominium

This place does not look like much from the outside, but our room was surprisingly very nice. Good beach location not super crowded.

Our family has been coming here since I was a child, and now we bring our children. Great family vacation, amazing beach and close to all of the attractions.

This is a really tough review to leave for me because we LOVE this condo complex. It's location is amazing, the beach is perfect and we always enjoy our trip. We stay here yearly. However, this trip we stayed in a different condo unit 322. It was direct ocean front and one of the more expensive units. The room was not ready at 5pm when we arrived. The cleaners rushed through and barely cleaned, floors not done. Imagine not cleaning floors in a beach condo. 😳 the maintenance in the unit was horrible, holes in the wall, torn sheetrock with mold visibly active in the walls, broken blinds so you couldn't shut them at Night, hole cut out in the sheetrock in the primary bath, horribly mismatched lighting in the rooms.. like bright white bulbs to warm bulbs (this sounds petty but at this point it was all piling up) wires hanging from the walls, old electrical sockets that didn't work and/ or falling out of the wall, you needed to wear shoes in the shower it was so yucky, patio covered with spiderwebs.... it was a mess. Sovereign & Jacobs did send cleaners back out but that time took away from our vacation as we had to go back and sit with them, and then the cleaners pointed put even more issues and talked badly about the unit. (Obviously frustrated as well but very awkard for us) sovereign and jacobs also gave us a $150 gift card which was thoughtful, but we spent $2700 on a condo that the owners couldn't spend time or money to have properly presentable to rent... and the fact that in the back of my mind I'm thinking my family is breathing in the mold living In the walls the whole time... eek! Overall, we dealt with it as we spent most the time on the beach but it is not a good representation of the Oceanhouse and if was a rental company or a Condo owner here, I would require this unit fixed properly and not by the owner himself bc clearly he is not capable, prior to renting again. This unit had to have so many building code violations going on. If I had been someone that had not been to Oceanhouse before, I would not be coming back. Please do visit oceanhouse but do not stay in unit 322!!

Wonderful four month stay at Ocean House! Awesome views, grounds are extremely well kept and the Association takes great care to ensure your stay perfect! Beautiful pool area and beach. I can’t wait to return in 2021! Love to own someday!
