I have been a customer of Ocean City Seafood for years, and I have always purchased my seafood there. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars at a time on fresh seafood, including live crabs, shrimp, potatoes, and other items. Unfortunately, after my experience last night, you have lost a longtime customer. Last night was no exception when it came to spending money. I spent approximately $260 on seafood and other items. I ordered 12 large crabs and specifically asked for them to be steamed well. When I got home, I tried to eat one or two before going to bed, but immediately noticed something was wrong. The crabs were extremely dry and did not taste fresh, so I stopped eating them and went to bed. This morning, I decided to try one cold, without reheating it, thinking maybe I had simply been tired the night before. Unfortunately, the crab was still stale, dry, and lacking the freshness I have always expected from Ocean City Seafood. I know what freshly steamed crab looks, smells, and tastes like, and this was not it. Based on the condition of the crabs, they tasted as though they had been sitting for some time and possibly reheated rather than being freshly steamed when I ordered them. After being a loyal customer for years and spending hundreds of dollars there on many occasions, this was extremely disappointing. $260 is a lot of money to spend on food that I could not enjoy. I have supported this business for years, but unfortunately, Ocean City Seafood has lost a very good customer. I will not be returning. I hope management takes this seriously, because customers deserve to receive the fresh seafood they are paying for.

I visited the store the day before because we wanted to take crabs to the beach for July 4th. I was told to call a half hour before pickup and they would cook the crabs for us. So I followed those instructions and ordered 2 dozen medium crabs. They were ready when we finally arrived and they were juicy and nicely seasoned. They charge an additional $5 per dozen to cook them which was fine. I will return soon and everyone was satisfied.
I ordered last night on Uber Eats and it was hands down the worst food that I’ve ever had! They threw ungodly amounts of seasoning on everything because it was all so old they tried to cover it up (the smell was extremely pungent). Every single item was cold like ice. My corn and shrimp were severely over cooked and rubbery. I had to throw it all away and order from a different restaurant. Avoid this establishment. Gross.
Food was very fresh the first time I went. Today, was very awful. I had to throw everything away. It was too spicy. It had mixed in old and fresh crab. Mushy shrimp. All the taste was bad. Definitely not going back anymore. Done with seafood. Don't waste your money like I did.
Went here for lunch. The service was great, but the food wasn't what I was hoping for. I got the deluxe combo, thinking I'd get some hot boiled seafood. The seafood and sides (potato, corn, sausage, etc.) were all cold. They asked if I wanted it to be mild, medium, or spicy, so I asked for spicy, thinking they'd use an extra spicy boil spice, but it turns out it just means they put spicy seasoning on top of the seafood. They also drenched everything in a butter sauce. I'm sure there are some people that might enjoy this style of preparation, but it's not my preference, all of the spice and butter kills the flavor of the seafood.
