Northeast Florida Fair

*RESPONSE : As a mom, I saw some of the conditions of the rides as did others and it was noticeable enough that parents were discussing the situation on site. I would highly recommend having some RE-inspected (especially the bucket ferris wheel). Would truly hate for someone to be injured. Attended last year and immediately noticed the upgrades with the new bathrooms! Super clean! The entry fee wasn't bad but then we had to pay additional for each ride? There may be an unlimited ride deal, not sure. If so, that may be a better option. We literally spent a majority of time viewing the animals. We dropped $22 on a giant turkey leg. *(Sea World doesn't even charge that much.) We enjoyed the atmosphere but just 1 lemonade, 1 turkey leg and 1 chicken tenders and fries set us back almost $52. Think we might just skip next year. Was not worth the hour drive. Not sure what others paid. Maybe there was some kind of ride deal we missed, but the safety was lacking. We do appreciate the kindness of all who helped run the event. The parking attendants did fantabulous. We lovvvvved all the unique breeds of birds and bunnies!! The names of the pigs had us crackin' up. "Jelly Roll" was there (a pig). *** Some of the rides looked like they should have been retired! The rust on the sky bucket ferris wheel was ridiculous. The rust was on the bolts that held the bucket into the wheel. Is no way I would ever send my kids up in one of them things! I hope this sort of thing gets resolved because it should have been reported.

We would just like to say my husband and I are in our 60s and we come Every year for the fire fighter sausage dogs and the money game and we got to the fair at 7:30 no sausage dog we only like smoked from fire dept building and to our sadness no money game this year they say. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT SO SAD FOR THE OLD PEOPLE!!!! Please bring back our annual fair night money game and fire fighter sausage dogs....oh yeah sadly we ended up with $57 worth of cold nasty food Thank you.

Good time. Didn’t ride many rides because of personal reasons but did ride the ferris wheel and the tempest. Both gentle and great rides. Loved the circus part. Feed the animals. It was $3 per bad/cup of food. The grain cup was worth the $3. The carrot bags were not filled enough for $3. They advertise that you can ride a camel bit basically with the weight restrictions only children can ride them. They also had ponies that were for kids to ride. The Hollywood Circus show was nice but go in not thinking Barnum and Bailey and you will be pleasantly entertained. The wristbands were almost $50.
