The Northbank Riverwalk in Jacksonville is the walkway along the north side of the St. Johns River, offering some of the best downtown river and skyline views. It runs roughly from the Berkman Plaza / downtown area west toward the Riverside area near I-95 (Fuller Warren Bridge) and is about 2 miles long. We started our walk at the Riverfront Music Garden and headed west for about 1 mile before returning to our starting point. The views of the downtown skyline across the St John’s River are spectacular. The views along the walk are equally as spectacular. Pay attention to the river as you may be greeted by a school of dolphins swimming along. The walkways were clean and wide. Plenty of sitting areas are available to rest, have a snack, a drink, and contemplate the views. This is definitely a great family oriented walk. It is also very secure.

They did a great job on the remodeling of the Riverwalk. Great place for a stroll, bicycling, jogging, or just sitting and enjoying the view.
WOW! I took my kids here for the first time. I was blown away with how clean everything is. I hope it continues to stay that way - so whatever DT is doing, please keep it up!
It was so Beautiful. As soon as we got up to the water, we instantly seen dolphins, even a baby dolphin. The wind felt great that day. The veiw was incredible. The wish fountain was beautiful as well. Just a wonderful relaxing and peaceful place to sit , have a picnic, read a book, or even watch the sunset or sunrise.
I always love walking here. Great views and an enjoyable walk. Depending where you park you can get about 3 miles of walking along the north bank. At night there are lots of homeless but still some lighting and normally some security walking around but still something to be careful of.
