This park is a best kept secret of Jacksonville. Located at the end of Pearl Street, it’s off the beaten path. It’s a perfect place to spend a few hours relaxing. There is plenty of shade from the oak and pecan trees. As the newer trees grow, it’ll be even better! There’s a kayak launch, playground with options for younger and older kids, a pet-friendly water fountain, several park benches, a paved walking path, trash cans, and a covered space with a picnic table. The only reason for my 4 star review is there is only one picnic table where it’s clear there once were at least 3 and 2 of the park benches need to be updated.
Love this park . Very quiet place to relax. There have been childrens birthday parties here and weddings also. The city does a great job of taking care of it also.

This is one of my favorite spots to be at. You can see the sunset, and sunrise. Great bird watching, and a peaceful place to be. You can also fish and catch crabs.
One of my favorite parks in Jacksonville! Right on the Trout River, has a small playground, sidewalk/track, plenty of shady trees and grassy space, a working water spigot, water fountain, 1 small covered pavilion, a few benches, and a kayak launch on left of the outer fence area.
