I have been a patient with Dr. George for 4 years now. When I first saw him, I had been doing my own research to try and find a different approach to “health” care than the more common, conventional way I had received prior. What a world of a difference finding an integrative-approached provider is! I have friends and family who are now healthier and more informed - as am I! - after having been cared for and learned from Dr. George of how to more fully and holistically view my health. Very grateful for him and for his office!
Dr. G (Dr. Anil George) is the most incredible physician I've ever met and the best doctor I've ever treated with. If you do not feel 100%, whatever the reason may be, Dr. G will figure it out. HRT and optimizing my vitamins have changed my life, functionally. I spent YEARS trying to figure out why I didn't feel well, had no energy, always tired, gained weight, etc. I was misdiagnosed with several conditions at multiple different practices. Dr. G did a full panel of blood work for me and found everything that we needed to treat, optimize in terms of hormones and vitamins, and here we are years later, I'm still feeling great! Dr. G has changed the way that I see medicine, doctors, and the importance of investing in your health. I wish Dr. G could treat patients on a conference level because there are so many people who do not feel well and other doctors lack the knowledge Dr. G has in functional medicine. He's incredible, and I am forever grateful that I found him! I'd give him ten starts if I could!
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it needed to be shared. I have never felt so disregarded by a doctor’s office. While I appreciate that my referral is being processed, this experience has made me decide to find a new primary care physician. The biggest issue has been the office staff. I returned a voicemail regarding my referral—the same referral I was already told last week would be mailed to me. Instead of getting help, I was transferred three different times, and each person asked me to repeat my name and date of birth. When I finally reached the last representative, she was extremely rude. She repeatedly talked over me while I was trying to ask a simple question and wouldn’t let me finish speaking. I even asked her to verify the information because I wanted to make sure I understood correctly, and she continued to interrupt me. Most of her responses were short, dismissive, and came across as “I don’t know,” without any effort to help or explain. When I asked for her name, she identified herself as Ambria. Patients deserve to be treated with patience and respect, especially when they’re calling about their healthcare. A little professionalism and courtesy would go a long way. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to lose confidence in this practice, and I’ll be looking for a new PCP.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been a patient at this practice for over five years, and I can honestly say it has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with a medical office. The level of incompetence, disorganization, and complete disregard for patients is astounding. Prescription refills are a nightmare. Requests disappear into a black hole, phone calls are rarely returned, and patients are left chasing staff for medications they should have received days or even weeks earlier. No one seems to know what is going on, and no one takes responsibility. The medical assistants are consistently uninformed, unprepared, and seemingly incapable of handling even routine tasks without creating confusion. Messages are lost, information is entered incorrectly, and every interaction feels like starting from scratch. The left hand never seems to know what the right hand is doing. What is truly unbelievable is that these issues have been ongoing for more than five years. This is not a bad day, a staffing shortage, or an isolated incident. This is the culture of the practice. After countless chances, repeated disappointments, and endless excuses, it is clear that patient care is simply not a priority here. A medical office should provide patients with confidence and peace of mind. Instead, this place delivers frustration, stress, and uncertainty. The fact that patients have to repeatedly advocate for basic services, accurate communication, and timely medication refills is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. There are too many excellent healthcare providers out there to waste your time, energy, and health on a practice that has spent years demonstrating such a shocking lack of professionalism and accountability.
The administrative staff was bad... I was a new patient to be seen and called to make an appointment for a referral to (OBGYN) since I am pregnant. I found the lady I talked to at the front desk so discouraging and depressive that I didn't even want to hear anymore when she gave me an appointment for almost 3 weeks later (to just write a referral that I will still have to set appointment later with OBGYN so maybe another 2 months...) knowing that in pregnancy time is crucial. The lady was so awful, there was a sigh for every single question and answer, it made me so depressed and dreading the conversation... I worked in HR at Baptist and I honestly would never have hired someone with this type of behavior. I will not be coming or coming back.
