The north beach parking/ access is open again, the $3 honor parking is no longer a thing, it's scan to pay Premium Parking/ or app, it's $3.65 now and lasts all day for the parks. Cash no longer required lol!

One of the best beaches I've ever been to. So beautiful and there's so many shells I have not yet found a beach like this that has so many shells it was so fun and you could walk out into the water for a long ways and it was not deep just had to jump with the waves. Me and my family had a wonderful time it was awesome the water was perfect. Had a blast will always be coming back for shells because it was so fun and there's so many to pick from great Beach to go to.

Incredible hidden beach on the ocean covered in shells, away from all the mansions and tourism north of it. There were maybe four other people there when I was, which its cleanliness is probably owed to. Decent parking across from north and middle beaches, $3 on the honor system (so, free) with porta-potties. Definitely the best option of the Jacksonville Beaches if you want to get away from everyone and everything else.
It's a nice beach absolutely terrific if you're looking for shells but not so terrific if you like walking on the "sand" in barefeet. The shells cover the sand and walking on it was a gingerly task. The beach is quiet. It's away from the hustle & bustle of the towns so that's really nice. There is a port-a-John in the parking lot that's always a bonus. It was a good beach and now that I know what to expect I'm sure we'll be back.
