Nom Nom Boba Tea and More

Stopped by yesterday (first timers) on a whim as we were having ramen in the same shopping plaza. The positive thing is the boba was good and the worker (male) was friendly and prompt. We understand why people call it welcoming and cozy but for us, it’s just kind of “junky”: the upholstery in the bench seating area is obviously an amateur job, and with customers, kids and wet drinks , how do you keep that flimsy non-water resistant fabric clean and sanitary? We were not inspired to stay and sit. We took our order to go. Also we are all for a “family” and kid-friendly vibe, but having toddler riding toys and games all around and stored on the sides of the aisle just looks messy. We realize it is a narrow footprint, but doing that just makes it feel even more closed in. Having the walls packed with pictures and other things adds to this feeling (we never liked that restaurant Bucca di Beppo for the same reason. How would you ever clean and dust all of that stuff regularly?). We were also puzzled by the decision to have random tchotchkes for sale on the side on open metal shelves. Does that really make enough money to have a significant impact on sales and does it add to the customer experience? That plaza probably definitely benefits from the cross traffic (like us) and we could imagine church goers just overrunning the place on certain days, so foot traffic is not likely an issue for any business there.

STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU CAN GET!!!!! I went in with my son and my girlfriend for a boba and dessert after lunch and was treated horribly by the girl working the counter there. She had two lip piercings and a curly hair. Whoever owns that place needs to get rid of her ASAP. I looked over some of the reviews in the past and can see multiple one and two star reviews giving a similar experience to mine. She was rude and outright disrespectful. Didn't greet us when we came in, didn't smile or say hello when I said hi. Picked up the menu signs and dropped them down and told us that we could read the menus instead of asking questions. Told her she could cancel our order an we'll be taking our business elsewhere to which she responded. I thought you'd be able to figure out how to read. I will never return to this place and will make sure to let every single person I know to avoid this place like the plague. If the owner of this place reaches out or reacts to this review, save your breath! I don't want a free drink or to give you another shot. Take some accountability and put your store in order!

Brown sugar boba tea is soo good!! 10/10 highly recommended. Friendly staff, cozy place.

My sister and I had never tried boba tea before and weren't sure what to order but the staff were very patient and friendly and explained all the various options. And there are a lot of options! Our drinks were delicious and came in great spill proof cups. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
