My best friend and I come here for lunch monthly to enjoy their fried chicken livers. They have the best! We are always excited to see what 'special dessert of the day' that they have. No matter what it is, it is delicious. The atmosphere is laid back and the servers are always so friendly and allow us to sit and talk without making us feel rushed.
Really cozy mom and pop kind of place. Loved the vibe in there. Like stepping back into the good old days. The staff was positive and friendly. The food was fresh and delish. The service was great and the food came out fast. Nice portions. My husband had the Mayport Shrimp with slaw and pole beans, I had breakfast-scrambled with cheddar, rye toast and grits with tomato’s. We arrived around 1:40pm and it’s so great that I could order breakfast!! The owner was warm and friendly. The desserts we took home-coconut cream pie and peach cobbler excellent! We will be part of the many new regulars!!! This place is a gem!
I have never been here but I will be back!! Food was outstanding! Big cheese burger!! Wow! You could feed two people with that bad boy! Fries were perfect! Everything in the burger was fresh! Shrimp was perfect! Salad was perfect! Peach cobbler was off the chain!!! Had a great lunch in a great environment! Super clean establishment! Been there 13 years and never knew! Will be trying breakfast next week . Thank you! 🙏🇺🇸
Ordered sausage gravy biscuits only to be told they were out of it. How do you run out on the weekend?. Tells me they us a mix. I almost said I could show you how to make it from scratch. What I ended up ordering was very good. Ham , eggs,home fries with toast and grits. A lot of food.Tasted great and was hot. Wait staff was excellent. Very attentive.
Nice family owned restaurant that serves breakfast all day. Good menu selections as well as everyday specials. Family oriented so tables can sit up to eight people. However, the wait for your food can be a while. We waited over 45 min for our order.
