Nala had her physical exam complete today. We absolutely love Jessica Hanning & her entire team. Always make you feel welcome, at home and honestly really care about the well being of our little fur babies. Thank you! Highly recommended the Oakleaf location. Jessica has been caring for my Nala for the last 6 years.
Dr. Hannah was amazing! To be honest, I originally wasn't very kind to bryan (not rude, but short and a little confrontational) due to my dog having symptoms of HGE and a history of it where she almost died last year from it. We are from Texas and are here for a Mayo clinic visit for my wife's illness. Our dog had hge symptoms a week and a half before coming, and she was recovered until we got her on the flight to come here. She was so stressed that her hge flared up again, and this location, Bryan, was able to squeeze us in because they had to cancellation. I was rude originally because I came in the middle of the conversation my wife was having with Bryan, and I thought he was trying to upsell us with a rabies vaccine that my dog already had when she was bleeding at the time. I did not realize that there was a law saying that they need proof. So sorry for that Bryan :( Dr. Hannah was very kind, patient, took the time to explain in more detail than other vets ever have (and this includes emergency vets) about olives condition. She even gave me suggestions on what foods to try, gave me prescriptions for multiple different foods (which no other vet has ever done), gave Olive medications for her issue and it seems to be working much better than anything the vets in fort Worth have tried. The price wasn't too bad either, places like Banfield cost a little bit more and you get less services. I just wanted to say thank you to the staff and to Dr. Hannah especially, for being very kind, patient, and I can tell that they care very much about the dogs that they care for. Not once that. I feel like I was getting ripped off or getting services that weren't needed. (when you have a dog as sick as mine, you'd be surprised how much vets try to guilt you into getting every possible test done, even if you've gotten them done last week, but this place did not do that at all)
My boys absolutely love coming here! Coming from a fellow clinician, Dr. Hanning is truly an amazing doctor with a wealth of knowledge and truly cares about the wellbeing of my dogs. She always evaluates her patients as a whole and addresses each clinical problem with precision. The staff are always very friendly and extremely helpful. The wellness plan gives me peace of mind knowing that I can take them in for an appointment whenever I have an issue without the cost adding up every time.
I am leaving this review because of my most recent experience. Let me start by saying the Veterinarians and staff are very friendly, and knowledgeable. I've never had any problem with that. However, after boarding my dogs at the connecting pet paradise, one of my dogs developed a stuffy nose and a bad rash, the day after I picked them up. I can't prove that they picked up anything from being boarded, and am still unsure, but thats not the issue. I brought in my sick dog to the Fleming island location , and the vet got him better. There was no vet available at this location that day. Cost me almost 500 that trip. About a week later that same dog developed a cornial ulser, so back to the vet I go, but not only that, my other dog got the same rash and stuffy nose that my previous dog had. So I brought them both to this location. As I stated, the Vet and staff are great and they took care of my dogs and they are recovering well. That said, the bill after that visit was nearly 500 again. For both dogs. The Vet then asked me to Bring the dog with the cornial ulser back in a few days later for a recheck. Now I have never in my life been charged for a recheck of a dog at a Veterinarians office. Ever. I have had many dogs over the course of my life. Never once was I charged to have him come back in just to see how the treatment was working. Well today I was charged another $55 dollars just to have them tell me what I already knew. He eye is starting to heal and the meds are working. So the nearly $1000 I spent in this place wasnt enough for them, they had to charge me for that recheck. I am so upset about this it prompted me to leave this negative review, which I rarely do. Do better.
I was very happy with the Doctor and the Nurses on how they treated my Dog Fred , they spent a lot of time with him and making him feel relaxed and comfortable They had so much information for me and a plan on how to work with Fred Great Experience
