Neptune Baptist Church

I was embarrassed and humiliated in front of my children by a lady last night during the fishing seminar/dinner/raffle. I came on behalf of my husband not knowing full details of this event. She went out of her way to stop us at the door to let us know specifically that the food for the night wasn’t free, (there’s more to this but that was the simplified Version) that’s how we were greeted for the first time stepping into this church after my husbands company donated to them earlier that day. No, hey how are y’all tonight? Nor did she attempt to explain anything else about the seminar. I didn’t go there expecting any handouts I originally didn’t want to go but ended up attending to support my husband and to learn more about the event, my children love fishing. To look at my family and assume we came just for a free dinner all while I expected to have to pay before I attended the event sickens me coming from a popular church at the beach. My boys love fishing and thought this would be a good experience for them to learn more about the city they live in and about the events that go on here. Turned out to be the most embarrassing time I’ve experienced in front of my children. I was humiliated.

Pastor Tom has a passion for equipping and encouraging us to go show and share Jesus with our neighbors, community, and the world. This is my family and home until I get to dance with David and hear Jesus say "Welcome good and faithful servant. Enter into joy today."

This is an amazing place of worship. They welcomed us with open arms, and treated us like we were family. The pastor preaches the word unfiltered but with compassion. We love this place.
