While visiting Amelia Island I went to Nassau County Senior Center in Fernandina Beach. I enjoyed a yoga class and a line dancing class. Had a great time at both. Got to meet some other friendly seniors and get in some exercise at the same time. The instuctors were very good and friendly. It seems to be a very well run facility and I would highly recommend it for all seniors.
Nassau County is not so great. However, Fernandina Beach FL is Awesome. I love it here. However, I would prefer my new home in Interlachen in Putnam County. All Country and woods. That's what it's all about... But I love the people here. Most of them.
As a snow bird, we visited the Senior Center in Fernandina Beach. What an excellent facility! We attended chair Yoga & Beginner Line Dancing classes. Instructors were excellent & staff very friendly! A great way to meet new people & make new friends. Both social & physical benefits for us seniors. Hope to take advantage of more classes. Thanks for welcoming us!!
