I recently visited MyEyeDr for an eye appointment. The technician who performed my eye exam was excellent. She was friendly, professional, and made the experience comfortable from start to finish. Unfortunately, the front office staff left a very different impression. They seemed uninterested in helping patients, were not welcoming, and lacked the basic friendliness and professionalism you would expect when arriving for an appointment. There were no smiles, no warm greeting, and it felt like assisting customers was an inconvenience. I was one of the first patients of the day, so it was surprising to encounter that level of disengagement so early. My experience became even more disappointing when I received my prescription and checked out. The employee assisting me appeared visibly irritated when I declined to purchase glasses. Her facial expressions and demeanor made me feel uncomfortable, as though I was being judged for not making a purchase. Patients should never feel pressured or treated differently based on whether they choose to buy products. The quality of care from the eye exam staff was outstanding, but the customer service from several front office employees significantly detracted from the overall experience. I hope management addresses these concerns, as the clinical staff deserve better support and patients deserve to feel welcomed and respected. I also plan to share this feedback with MyEyeDr's corporate office because I believe it is important that they are aware of the customer service issues I experienced at this location.
Deondria delivered EXCEPTIONAL customer service today! My experience was 100 times better because of how knowledgeable, poised, and caring she was with the details of my eye exam. I am ALWAYS excited to share a remarkable customer experience! When I encounter a professional who not only pours passion into their craft, but understands the balance of easing your mind about an uncomfortable procedure while demonstrating a love for what they do, down to selecting your frames; I am inclined to tell my story!!. MyEyeDr Oakleaf nailed it with bringing thus expert onboard! I'm officially telling all of my family and friends to go see her, Naela and the rest of the outstanding staff in Oakleaf to go there for their next eye exam. The experience promises to be a real treasure!
Jacky at My Eye Dr. in Oakleaf Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida, Is the absolute best optometry associate I have ever worked with. She was clearly the office go to, she helped me choose frames for my face shape, which you would expect, but I feel like this is the first time someone actually told me what was best and what to avoid. She was pulling frames out Based on the best shapes, and then she was almost instantly pulling frames out by color and other features I was mentioning as I was giving feedback. Picking out glasses is stressful and it also seems time-consuming. She has a great process of elimination, and I felt like It was the least painful visit I’ve ever had when picking out frames. I also felt secure that she wasn’t telling me based on how she answered every question with honesty and expertise. I asked if I was going to get a survey and she said no, but I could give her a review and that’s what I’m doing because Jacky deserves five stars!
Wonderful doctor, one of those who got into the medical profession for the right reasons, to help people. Jacky, who helped me with picking my glasses and the options was a true sweetheart who you just instantly like and trust to help you with the myriad of options for glasses. Altogether from the minimal wait time, to the pleasant receptionist, the doctor who truly cares, and finishing with Jacky it almost felt like a day at the spa, felt truly pampered and cared for ❤️
Jacky was awesome. It had been some time since replacing my glasses 🤓 and it was something I was genuinely dreading. This office made my visit pleasent and informative. The team were patient and kind to me and my family. I struggle to understand and they were there with me helping me understand why my eye wear needs had changed and then how to manage my prescription. They were all wonderful, Jacky was especially great. She was great at listening for what I wanted and suggest the best product for me and my family.
