After my house was struck by lightning on/about 20 August, I noticed the next morning that the status light on my 24Kw GENERAC was not lit. I called Emergency Power after office hours on Friday and left a voice mail on Eric Wildermuth’s cell phone. He called back promptly. Since it was not an emergency (the power in the neighborhood was not disrupted), Emergency Power scheduled a visit for Monday. Eric arrived before 9 AM and replaced two circuit boards, restoring our GENERAC to service. I haven’t received the invoice yet, but I am very happy with Emergency Power’s response and technical service. Also, when I mentioned to Eric that a GFI outlet I had replaced was not working. He gave me a couple of things to check and I had that working in about 10 minutes. I had to leave town on a business trip before Eric arrived on Monday morning, but he answered all my wife’s questions and got our system back on line as quickly as we could have expected.
Keenan was awesome! Got here timely and evaluated situation and options. Very thorough and comprehensive assessment. Spent time to explain the issue and resolution. Highly recommend.
We’ve had our Generac generator for a couple of years now, and while Ethan with Emergency Power did not do the original installation, he has been our go-to for support and service ever since. Knowing he’s available to assist remotely whenever questions come up has given us tremendous confidence that our generator will always be ready when the power goes out. Recently, during the process of selling our home, the Home inspector had some trouble triggering the generator. I reached out to Ethan and he came out right away, checked everything thoroughly, confirmed it was in perfect working order, and even made an inspection video for the new owners. That kind of responsiveness and professionalism gave us (and them) real peace of mind. I highly recommend Ethan to anyone with a standby generator. He’s knowledgeable, reliable, and committed to making sure your power stays on when you need it most.
Keenan diagnosed the problem and also went through a description of how to care for the Generac - very helpful. My Emergency Power was also able to complete the repair one day after I had called with the problem - very responsive.
