5/23/26 Second time we have taken out 21 month old for a hair cut with Mike! Can’t speak more highly of Mike he does such a great job with our son! We drive an hour just to get his hair cut with Mike! We are really impressed with the service at Mr. Monks! 4/18/26 I called the day of to ask about a first haircut for my 20-month-old, and they were able to get us in right away at a quiet time. He did an amazing job making my son as comfortable as possible and was very attentive throughout the entire appointment. He checked in multiple times to make sure the fade length was exactly what I wanted, which I really appreciated. Even though my son cried the whole time, he stayed incredibly calm and patient. It ended up being a great first haircut experience, and my son’s hair looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend!
Always excellent work by this shop! It doesn’t matter who I see here they always do a great job. Dustin has been my main barber for 6 years now. I hate going anywhere else because he always gets me right. Trust you will be happy with the cut and the service every time.
Mike was very nice. We had a great conversation while he cut my hair and trimmed my beard. Mike cut my hair exactly how I wanted. I will add that my wife had a big smile on her face when I got back home. Definitely the best barbershop in Saint Augustine. We recently moved into town and can confidently say that I have found my permanent barber. Thank you Mike.

We visited Mr. Monks Barbershop for the first time on 8/6/25, and the experience was absolutely amazing. My 10-year-old son often struggles with anxiety when it comes to haircuts, but Dustin immediately made him feel comfortable and at ease. My son asked for a blowout taper fade, and Dustin delivered exactly what he wanted—spot on. In my son’s words: “10 out of 10 perfect!” We couldn’t be happier and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
