Great little kids toy and clothing store. Lots to choose from. Very helpful sales associate.

Childhood is ephemeral; The Monkey Barrel makes it classic and colorful. If you love traditional Southern style (think smocking, ruffles, embroderie, Swiss dots, and linen), you will delight in visiting The Monkey Barrel. In a world, it's darling. Every time I visit, there is new and adorable merchandise...clearly selected with loving hands. Some of my favorite memories so far are in timeless dresses from The Monkey Barrel. It's our go-to place for baby showers (clothing and developmentally stimulating toys), special occasion wear (annual photos, etc), seasonal wardrobe updates, swim gear, and even for my children to go to spend their pocket money on small items and games. Just as sweet as any store you would find in Charleston.

The store attendant was so helpful and made our shopping experience pleasant. Great shop.
