Mojo Old City BBQ

Whenever I'm in St Augustine, I make it a point to stop at Mojo. I love their smoky flavors and courteous staff. Always a very good meal. Start off with a Painkiller (reminds me of the Gamechanger at a SC place😉) and their smoked pulled pork is delicious. Recommend their bbq beans, collards, corn. Smoked wings are very good, too. I'm a sucker for their Chipotle BBQ and MOJO BBQ. Don't sleep on this restaurant.

Stopped by here after dinner, as the smell was intoxicating! After talking to some other patrons… they could not give the wings higher accolades. We asked our wonderful bartender for one wing so we can try it ( we had just ate and were too full for an order). He did not disappoint and…. WOW. Best wing ever! Thank you, Nate! We will be back!

As we were walking through St. Augustine talking about getting dinner, we smelled the BBQ and walked right in. They had a large party and the hostess asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. We declined and told her we weren't bothered by the party. She cane back and asked again, we told her it really was fine. They were not too loud at all. I got the club and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The brisket melted in my mouth, the bacon was cispy and the turkey brought it all together. This sandwich was so big, that I was squashing it to try to eat it. My side of smashed sweet potatoes was like eating dessert. Absolutely delicious, so glad our noses brought us in!
