I happened to find this place on maps because it was nearby and I do not regret going a bit out of my way to try it! The very skinny girl (sorry I didn't get her name) was so kind and helpful from the moment we walked in to the second we left. She was so cheery and friendly, and walked us through everything every step of the way. She even came from behind the counter to explain it to us face to face. The customization is awesome, and the variety is great. Would love to see some more options in the future like matcha or strawberry milks and rotating toppings (maybe different toppings vs ingredients so that you get more variety?) but we LOVED it nonetheless! My husband and I both got a regular and it was way too big so we could have shared one. Their portions are generous and the quality was great. For those who have never been: You choose your cup size, add fillings, add your cream base, then hand it to them to freeze up in a mixer for you. They then scoop it back out once frozen into your cup or a cone, if you buy a cone, and then you get to add toppings on top before chowing down! I will say the toppings are hard to put on because the scoop is only so big on the cup or cone and they mostly fall off, but still really good. We would absolutely come back again and if a lay visiting friends or family asked for good ice cream, we would (and will be) bringing them here! Don't go anywhere!

I just had the vegan ice cream, which was pretty creamy and lightly sweet. With biscotti crumbles and sauce. The brownie was ridiculously decadent. I really appreciate the quality ingredients. The staff were two really sweet girls. The price was on point too. Definitely will be back here next week.
Mixter Nitrogen Creamery is one of those special dessert places that turns a simple craving into an event. Whether you go with someone you love, bring the family, or just treat yourself, the experience is part of the treatment. The creaminess, the freedom to build your own treat, the kindness of the people behind the counter—all of that combine to make it more than just an ice cream parlor. It’s a spot that makes you smile. The owners and staff aren’t just there to serve; they seem to genuinely want to make each person’s visit a little happier. What’s Unique • The liquid nitrogen process: each order of “nicecream” is made on the spot, right before your eyes, with liquid nitrogen. It adds both spectacle and texture—super creamy, very smooth. • Customization is front and center. You choose your base (vanilla, chocolate, etc.), your mix-ins, toppings, even syringes of extra flavor agents (like caramel or hazelnut). • They offer vegan options, which is great for folks who are dairy-free or limiting dairy. Prices are maybe a bit higher than your average scoop, but considering the novelty, fresh bases, premium ingredients, and experience, many reviewers feel it’s worth it. Atmosphere & Staff • Friendly doesn’t even begin to cover it. Staff are repeatedly described as welcoming, patient (which helps when you stand there trying to decide between a dozen mix-in options), and enthusiastic. They seem proud of what they’re doing, and that shows. They explained the whole process and walked us through the experience. • The place is clean, well designed, and family-friendly. There’s space to hang out, comfortable seating, bright decor—just enough to feel fun without overwhelming. This is a very unique and one of the first of its kind in Jacksonville and i’m sure they’re here to stay
Wow so few reviews, this place is pretty new but I'm glad I found it. With the experience I would expect many more reviews. I saw this place on Instagram and wanted to give it a shot, because I I love ice cream shops. I've been to lots of ice cream shops that chop your toppings up on a Cold Stone which is cool and all, but I've never been to to an ice cream shop that freezes the ice cream in front of you with the toppings in it, a very fun experience if you've never done it before, also being able to choose your own toppings that they blend in and toppings that they put on top as opposed to them doing it for you really helps make sure you get exactly what you want, the servers here were super nice and very patient, and I definitely enjoyed the experience, if you haven't done this before you definitely want to check it out. This place had a very techno feel to it for an ice cream shop which I thought sort of cool It was probably the music and lighting.
First of all, super awesome spot! great vibes and the staff is incredibly friendly. I found it hard not to chat with Christie while I ate multiple (yes multiple) delicious treats. It's such a fun visual experience as well! It was very neat to watch them freeze the ice cream I had made myself. They have Dole Pineapple which is my favorite flavor of soft-serve and the way Milkster makes it is so fluffy and smooth. Pup enjoyed a pup cup and plenty of attention! Thanks Christie! everything was amazing and you really made a friendly hangout all the better! We will definitely be back.
