We went out on a charter with captain David Burns last week from Amelia Island for an offshore fishing charter. The last time we chartered the Miss Content was about 15 years ago, and we had a great time and caught a lot of nice kings and barricudas. We had another great day of fishing because captain Burns knows where to find the fish. He doesn't have a 1st mate, and handled all of the setup for fishing, but still managed to keep the boat property positioned and lines in the water. The kids also enjoyed helping to catch the bait fish. When action slowed down at a spot, we moved to another location. We had scheduled a 6 hour trip (not advertised on the website) but only went 5 hours because of the weather and the number of fish we caught. I will call him on our next trip to Amelia Island.
The best there because we catch, not just fish. Have fished with Capt. Dave on many many occasions with extraordinary results.
