If you’re looking for a unique photo spot in downtown Jacksonville, check out the mirrored river mosaic at the Southbank Riverwalk. The reflections are amazing and change throughout the day. Quick stop, but definitely worth it for the views and vibe.

"Mirrored River: Where Do You See Yourself?" is a captivating mosaic mural located under the Main Street Bridge on Jacksonville's Southbank Riverwalk. Created by local artist Kate Garcia Rouh of Roux Art in 2015, the mural spans approximately 64 feet in length and 7 feet in height, depicting an aerial view of the St. Johns River using mirror and blue tiles. The mirrors reflect the surrounding environment, including the river, city skyline, and passersby, creating an interactive experience. The mural is particularly stunning at sunset, when the mirrored tiles reflect the vibrant colors of the sky. The Southbank Riverwalk itself is a popular destination for both locals and visitors, offering a 1.4-mile out-and-back trail along the St. Johns River. It's generally considered an easy route, taking about 25 minutes to complete. The Riverwalk provides scenic views of downtown Jacksonville and is a great spot for walking, jogging, or simply enjoying the waterfront atmosphere. This was installed the same year I moved to Jax and remember walking it the first time I was downtown exploring. I love that this has stayed in the community all this time, definitely something to view yourself!
This place was okay. Considering covid is going on. Allot of the stuff was hands on. They had hand sanitizer everywhere. But when u have a little kid it's still a scary thing. The dragons was the best part and native of FL and fl history. Like I say not bad but not the greatest. Didn't get to see the movie cause of about 75 people huddled in the space room waiting on it. Would recommend for a kid 10 and up
I enjoyed the walk more than the art…
