Miller's Mobile Marine

Josh was great to work with the moment I called him and asked about service to replace my tough steering cable situation. He allowed me to bring my boat to his shop a week earlier than expected due to an unexpected situation on my part. He was very knowledgable and fair on all of his parts and labor prices. I ended up getting a new rack and pinion steering system, new 2-stroke oil tank, and he even refurbished my dash sanding it down, filling and coating it. It looks new again. He was available on a Saturday for pick up. I would definitely trust Josh with my boat again. He will be the only one I call!

Dear owner: we want our money back!!! Dear consumer: If I could leave 0 stars I would, I had a very disappointing experience with Millers Mobile Marine. They took $100 to not even diagnose anything and just said “we can fix it”, but ended up no-showing THREE TIMES. The second time I had followed up, I was told that their technician had to cancel due to a chemo appointment, and that they’d be here during the weekend. which was never communicated to us in advance (And also a violation of that employee’s HIPPA rights which leads me to believe it was a lie). He was rude and defensive, instead of offering a simple apology or solution. I had rearranged my schedule to accommodate them, only to waste my time and money. Now I have to find another mechanic after already paying this company. I do not recommend Millers Mobile Marine. I posted a screenshot of the conversation for reference and to show them no showing and how unprofessional and rude this man was after questioning when he’d be here!!

I brought Josh my boat on December 22 with a throttle issue. I knew that most people were thinking only of Christmas vacation. Josh had the repair done in 90 minutes and I was out the door. He did not attempt to sell me unnecessary items or services. His price was fair and I was completely satisfied.

I contacted Miller’s March 2nd about servicing my boat. Josh told me to text all my information over and he would take care of it. On March 12th I checked back in with him and he claimed he would order the parts and handle it. After not hearing back I contacted him again in March 24th. He told me he would handle it the following morning. I tried calling and sent a text March 31st with no response. If you want someone reliable you might want to go elsewhere. He will tell you he will handle it but will not show up. Total waste of my time!
