Millennium Physician Group – Jacksonville Primary-Care

I came to this practice on the recommendation of a friend because I needed a physician in this area. I was treated very disrespectfully because of a prescription medication that I have taken for many, many years. I will not go into detail but it was very heartbreaking and humiliating to be treated as I was. It was cruel. I made the long drive to return to my former physician and told him exactly what happened. He actually took the time to research the issue that was happening surrounding my medication and found the answer within minutes and immediately said that he had just learned something new himself and also said that Dr. Tyer did NOT do her job properly. I wish I had never went to Millennium and I do not recommend Dr. Tyer. I am so thankful to be back with my doctor now even if he is far away. He’s worth the drive.

I would not recommend going here, unorganized, lots of patients just waiting around with no idea when they will be seen, the office is dark and dismal with a weird low energy feel to it. I walked out, never going back nor are any of my family or friends who I most definitely will not be recommending this facility.

Aside from waiting over a hour in the room just to hear “you know you have another patient, right?” just to be helped 2 mins later. I came to this place with really bad rib pain, Teri Tyer did not try to help me figure out what it could be other than maybe a uti or shingles..??. I asked for an X-ray or ct, I’m finally about to get the X-rays over a week later just for my clothing to alter the photos and make them useless. I receive a call from the office going over my results. My results state that my clothing made some of the images useless and that I may have a mild spine curve and if I needed PT for it. I came to you guys with bad rib pain after already going to urgent care and you guys completely disregard and don’t even ask if it’s still causing me pain all day everyday and do not offer any other scans or tests. During that phone call this past Friday I asked for a CT because I’m still in pain as I have already told them. I get a call this past Monday from the office asking if I still wanted the CT because Teri Tyer wasn’t sure if I would due to the cost which isn’t her business for one. Then 2 more days go by and I finally call them asking about the CT we talked about twice already, they said they have no idea what im talking about and have no record someone talked to me on Monday… I’m not sure why people get ignored and pushed under the rug at this place but I couldn’t recommend this place less. Avoid Teri at all costs.

First, I like to say I’ve been coming to this doctors office for almost a decade. I’ve always been treated with respect and felt like I was a priority. I would like to give a big shout out to APRN Angelique Jones and all the staff for always being so kind even though sometimes I may have to wait, It’s always worth it because when I’m in front of Angelique, she always listens and takes her time with me. So if you want detail healthcare with staff that really pays attention and values you then you’re in the right place.
