The woman at the front desk—an older blonde lady—was beyond rude and unprofessional. I drive nearly 50 minutes to bring my disabled grandmother to this office, and today there was an accident in Yulee that delayed us. I had the courtesy to call ahead and let them know we’d be running late. When I arrived, I wasn’t greeted with understanding, but instead hit with the exact time as a passive-aggressive jab to point out we were 12 minutes late. She then told me to “hold on” while she checked if the doctor would still see us—like I hadn’t just driven almost an hour to get there. What really crossed the line was her saying, “You’re lucky there was a cancellation or you would’ve just driven back home.”………Lucky? Nah. You’re lucky I kept my composure. Because one more slick comment and I was about to match energy. I don’t care about your fake professionalism or your dusty little power trip behind the front desk. That smug, entitled attitude is trash. That kind of energy? Completely uncalled for. If I wasn’t keeping it together for my grandmother, it would’ve gone very differently. I don’t care about this office’s policies—what I care about is how people are treated. Her attitude reeked of entitlement and lack of compassion, especially when dealing with elderly and disabled patients. Do better.

I had a bone density exam done last week. Everyone from the front desk to the technician was extremely polite, respectful, friendly, and helpful in explaining everything to me. I was very pleased and impressed by how everything went so smoothly. Very grateful overall with the experience.
