Loved Dr. Copty! He was thorough, and friendly. I will be following him to the Oakleaf location. My insurance changed from a PPO to an HMO this year due to increased premiums, I wasn't thrilled with the change. But I think Dr. Copty is going to be able to make it a smooth transition for me. Five-star visit, so far St. Vincent’s and my new doctor are A-1! I'm very pleased.

I did not enjoy my visit with Dr. Michael. I thought he was very insensitive with delivering predictions of diagnosis without testing, especially ones that are life altering. I did not like the vibe between him and I or his tone and I thought he was a bit unprofessional with the way he delivered his opinion without being experience in the area of GYOBN for giving his diagnosis of critical diseases like cervical cancer from doing a Pap smear just off of observation without Testing or a wide experience in that area. Will you tell a woman that based off a sight it looks like you may have cervical cancer that’s not something that I believe you should just blurt out like it’s just you telling a patient to pick up a a new skin cream. It doesn’t weigh the same so I thought in that regards he was very insensitive to the information that he was given a patient without results from the test, this has put me in such a worry state where I did not sleep the entire night following my doctor visit. He’s not my normal primary care doctor so maybe that’s why he was not sympathetic in the way that he interacted with me. He did not wait for me to be comfortable for the procedure on his way walking out the door with the door still open, he turned and asked me at the observing that I was wearing a dress. Ask me Was I wearing underwear and when I stated no he said well he don’t have to walk out. I can prep right now so I lifted my dress up with the paper sheet they provided across my lap and just Lift at my dress up for him to do the procedure. I felt very uncomfortable. When he first inserted the object to do the procedure, he stated that he did not see my My cervix, and I stated because it sits at a tilt he then proceeded to take it out and reposition it so that he can find where my cervix was at. It was very painful and uncomfortable. After the procedure was over is when he asked me did I ever have any abnormal Pap smears and I stated no I did not. He then stated for me to make an appointment to see a OBGYN for further observations in a second opinion, cause based off of what he saw, he stated that it looks like I have cervical cancer cells. I was very upset with receiving the news the way he delivered it. I cried, and was very emotional all the way home after that appointment I canceled the following appointment to never ever have to see that the Michael again I transferred to a new office to go back to my old primary care. I cannot believe he is a medical doctor.
