I had not been horseback riding in many years and my husband had never been but we were excited to go on an adventure. We were not disappointed, in fact, the ride was our most favorite activity during our 6 day trip. Hannah was friendly, very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. We absolutely loved that we were able to do more than ride on a path. The area had received a lot of rain prior to our arrival so there was a lot of flooding, mud, and downed trees which made our ride so much fun...we had to go through several areas where the water was up the the horses' bellies! If you are the adventurous type and enjoy a more thrilling ride, don't hesitate to book with Hannah. After relating our adventures to a friend who will be visiting soon, she and her family are eagerly awaiting their adventure with her!
Meant to be equestrian is a beautiful, professional, knowledgeable place to learn about, care for and ride horses! Hannah is amazing, from her lessons to her trail rides she’s engaged, entertaining and knows what she’s talking about. My kids and I have learned so much from her about riding and caring for the horses. We’ve done so many trail rides and they’re always a blast. It’s so obvious she cares not just about the horses but everyone that comes to the barn too. Shes professional and respectful and never asks someone to do something she wouldn’t do herself. Her beach rides are gorgeous and so much fun. You really can’t get a better experience anywhere else!
We decided to go horseback riding kind of last minute and found this place since it was the closest to us. We reached out to ask if they had any same-day availability or cancellations, and they were incredibly kind and willing to accommodate us despite the short notice. Spencer was a great tour guide - I really enjoyed talking with him, and he made the experience even more interesting (which says a lot, because riding horses is already amazing). Not to mention how beautiful all of the horses were, as well as the property. Everything was very well kept and clean.
This was such an awesome experience, we did the beach ride . It was so peaceful and Hanna and her partner did a fantastic job job from start to finish. My husband and I did this for our 1 yr anniversary. Hubby was scared at first and intimidated because he was put on the biggest horse (Delilah) and he had never been on a horse or even around one but they comforted him and assured him all would be good. And it was. Now he wants to do it again back home.. I rode Willywonka and he was such a nice an gentle horse. We would definitely come back . Mel & Jeff Webb
Meant to Be Equestrian is the best barn in Saint Augustine! Whether you are going for a beautiful trail ride or want to develop your skills, we have had the most enjoyable experiences. The trainer is on point and great for riders who are ready to grow! She does both English and Western, which we really appreciate. Get ready for an unforgettable ride!!!
