McIver Clinic St Johns Office

As i can imagine, going to the ugologist is probably the last thing anyone wants to really do, but overall i had a positive experience in the office. I was really uncomfortable anticipating the appointment, however the environment there overall is good. The health care workers are very professional and take their job seriously. Couldn't ask for anything more. If you do intend on driving to an appointment though, make sure to get there early, as there is a lot of construction on the roads to this area.

Have not even been to an appointment and am not visiting this office based off my scheduling call with Selena.Tried to explain a scheduling difficulty with her and she was not capable of handling it professionally. Horrible scheduling interactions the first and last two times I’ve tried to get in with this clinic - as if I’m an inconvenience.

Review for McIver Clinic – St. Johns Office I visited the McIver Clinic St. Johns location on 1/26/25 following an MRI that revealed a mass on my kidney. I was referred for further evaluation and made the trip down to the St. Johns County office for what I expected would be a meaningful consultation. After completing the necessary paperwork and waiting to be seen, the physician briefly entered the exam room, glanced at my chart, informed me I would need additional testing, and promptly exited. The entire interaction lasted less than 20 seconds. Despite the extremely limited nature of the visit, I was billed $330—an out-of-pocket expense since my deductible has not yet been met. What I found most frustrating was the lack of efficiency and preparation. It’s difficult to understand why my chart wasn’t reviewed prior to my appointment so that any necessary tests could have been scheduled in advance. Instead, this visit felt like an unnecessary step that could have easily been handled over the phone or at least planned with greater consideration. When I contacted Customer Service, I was referred to Florida Physician Specialists LLC, who acknowledged the situation but were unable to offer any adjustment or discount toward the bill. Unfortunately, experiences like this reinforce the growing concern about inefficiency and lack of transparency in our healthcare system. While I recognize that the physicians may be contracted and working within broader administrative frameworks, the patient experience must be prioritized. I hope this feedback encourages McIver Clinic to review and improve their patient intake and consultation processes. Time, money, and energy should not be wasted on visits that lack substance or preparation.
