I have been a patient of Dr McGreevy since 2017. I was diagnosed in 2019 with Transverse Myelitis (TM). Dr. McGreevy and his staff are top notch in my opinion. Over the past 9 years I have experienced nothing but compassion and understanding from the entire staff. The addition of Ryan Park to the team is a blessing. Ryan is in tune with his patients, and somehow remembers conversations we have had in the prior months. I am in awe of the way he pays attention to the smallest details of a conversation and that shows that he truly cares about his patients on a personal level. He is also always thinking of different ways to treat my illness other than the medication that keeps me from crawling out of my skin. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr McGreevy and his staff. I will constantly recommend him to anyone who could benefit from his neurological expertise. Thank you Dr McGreevy and staff for continuing to treat me. Mike F.
Terrible service!!!! They waste your time, coming in for initial consultation, won’t do nerve testing for lower body and upper body on same appointment, they also do reviews separately as well, then they want to come back for treatment and they follow up as well. In less then 2 months I have wasted over 45 min drive 5 times and another 50 mins to get home. They were expecting me to show up 7 times in less than 2 months. They don’t care how this affects your personal/ professional life. This is unacceptable for people that work having to leave early to make it to all the appointments, I wonder how others get affected at work. This is a true definition of business, they sure want to make their money charging insurance per visit. They were able to charge 5 visit and yet no solution or pain relief.
Both my husband and myself have started to see him. I am impressed so far. He takes his time with you and listens to your concerns. He has come up with a planned treatment for both of us instead of just handing out pills. Front desk and Fernando are both very pleasant. The other guy is annoying though.
I have been seeing Dr. McGreevy since before he opened his own practice. He is extremely knowledgeable in multiple areas, especially neurology. He is courteous and professional and answers any questions or concerns I have with grace and tact. I saw that his practice has many poor reviews and read many of them. In regards to the front office staff and sometimes long wait times...this is an extremely BUSY office as he tries to accommodate as many patients as possible due to the fact that in my opinion, aside from him there really aren't any decent qualified Neurologists in the area and so he does what he can to help as many people as he can. There is a pretty quick turnaround as far as his front office staff is concerned. Again, it is a fast paced office that deals with many ranges of patients with serious medical conditions. You cannot honestly tell me that you expect that the person that answers the phone is going to know the answers to your medical questions. If you believe that, you clearly haven't been to a medical specialist's office or ever contacted one before. Those questions are for the nurses, PA, or doctor. I have seen and heard so many patients be extremely rude and completely irrational with the staff and so I'm not surprised that they don't stick around. Other comments I read complain about Dr. McGreevy not making much eye contact or putting his back to patients at times in the exam rooms. This day and age, there isn't one doctor that I see that doesn't have to do this at times. They all have computers in front of them or near them to take notes as they talk to you so that they can keep track of your needs. It is just that day and age people! If it's something that bothers you, SAY something when it is happening so the doc is aware that this bothers you. Don't wait and then come on a platform like this after the fact and whine about it. This area is so over populated right now and there aren't enough doctors, especially specialty doctors to go around. Be GRATEFUL that we are fortunate to have such a well qualified and knowledgeable doc in our area. Or don't be, it will leave more appointment times open for those of us that appreciate having a doctor that stays educated in all the latest and greatest technologies and treatments out there. THANK YOU to Dr. McGreevy for always going above and beyond to provide the best quality care that you can. And to his staff, there are some of us out there that appreciate your efforts. Please hang in there and take the negative customers with a grain of salt. Sadly in a customer service based service industry, you will NEVER please them all. That and people will tend to not hesitate to complain when they feel they have been wronged in some way, shape, or form but we tend not to voice the positive things.
We are so very thankful for Dr. McGreevy’s care. After my husband’s seizure he was the only doctor who suggested further testing. He ordered carotid ultrasound & followed up with CTA. He referred us back to cardiologist who referred us to vascular. Unfortunately he had a stroke prior to getting carotid surgery but he will have it soon. Thank you for being such a thorough physician.
