Such a cute ice cream shop with yummy flavor options and cookies! Everything made in house. There is ample seating inside and out, super clean, and customer service was great. You can sample flavors beforehand which I recommend cause their flavors are unique. My only complaint would be is they only have unique flavors, nothing really traditional like cookie dough. If you wanna try something new this is the place for you, if you want traditional ice cream flavors it may not be your thing. Our favorite flavors were the cloud 9 which was almond and marshmallow fluff, soo good and the other was the Oreo, that may have been their only “normal” flavor. All in all, would come back, always appreciate homemade ice cream!
We had an amazing experience at Mayday Handcrafted Ice Cream & Cookies and it absolutely deserves five stars. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They encouraged us to sample a variety of flavors, which made the whole experience fun and helped us choose the perfect combination for our six mini scoop flight. The ice cream itself was outstanding. Super creamy, rich, and packed with unique flavor options you do not typically find elsewhere. Every single scoop we tried was delicious and clearly made with care. We also grabbed a chocolate cookie, and it was just as impressive. Soft, warm, and perfectly baked. It paired so well with the ice cream. If you are looking for high-quality, creative flavors and a great overall experience, this place is a must-visit. We will definitely be back.
Wow! Completely blown away with the delicious ice cream. My kids loved it and were happy to be able to have samples of multiple flavors. My wife and I were happy because we could find dairy free & gluten-free options. Madilyn was so extremely helpful, friendly and made our experience wonderful. I wish we had one closer to us. This was hands down one of the best ice cream shops I’ve tried. I highly recommend ever to try this place.
Mayday Handcrafted Ice Cream & Cookies is a perfect dessert stop in Jacksonville, especially if you’re already nearby grabbing food. My wife and I stopped in after dinner at Talking Tacos, and it was the ideal follow-up. The shop was very clean and had a welcoming vibe. Story, the employee who helped us, was incredibly nice and patient while we sampled a few flavors before deciding. Service like that really makes a difference. Everything we tried was great—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It was so good my wife started eating hers before I even had a chance to take a picture. Overall, a must-visit if you’re craving something sweet and high quality.
My favorite place to get ice cream! This location is probably the best of any Mayday I have been to. Aubrey was so kind and patient. She gave me and my friend (in our indecisiveness) many of her favorite flavors to try and we now know what to get every time. Thank you Aubrey and St. John’s Town Center Mayday! 🩵
