I worked here at Maxim from 2015-2017, with kids in the home during rehab and other needs. - This staff & position was hand's down the best job I've ever had in Nursing. The office staff was extremely supportive, and the kids were all great. I feel that I had an excellent relationship with my schedulers and my Managers, all of whom really cared about their patients. Were I still in Florida, I would still be working for Maxim Healthcare in Jacksonville.If you're looking for a great place to work that actually cares about you and their clients, this is the place to go. 6/5 stars Thanks guys for all the great memories and great people.
A VA Authorization for a 4 day respite request was sent to Maxim Healthcare. It took almost 2 weeks of my calling for an update for them to refuse the request and leave me hanging back to square one for my retired Master Chief who is a paraplegic. Terrible customer service which makes me wonder how much they care about the quality of their services.
I have worked for Maxim for several years. I started as a private duty nurse (PDN) and have transitioned to home health visits primarily doing wound care. The Maxim staff are friendly, helpful and supportive. The communication is excellent. Visit nursing gives me flexibility, a varied nursing experience, learning and skill growth, and work satisfaction. Maxim allows me to stay comfortable within my skill set and has never forced an assignment on me. There are twice yearly skill set fairs to learn nursing skills and demonstrate competency. Maxim supports shadowing so a nurse can watch and learn from a more experienced nurse for a particular method of care. The reality is nursing is constantly having to learn new techniques and new equipment for the best patient care. The ability to learn from more experienced nurses in a low stress environment is a true gift. Maxim has frequent in-service training.
I've worked at Maxim and have had great experience with staffing and employees. I work closely with Lily who have been exceptional meeting my nursing needs. Will recommend her highly. Thanks, Ines
