Mavi Waterfront Bar & Grill

Just finished dinner at Mavi (Jacksonville). I had the fried snapper. It was fresh and fried really well, but it just didn't have much seasoning, so the flavor was a little underwhelming. Was it bad? No. Was it fresh? Absolutely. I just wish it had a little more seasoning. The standout was definitely the service. My server, Jonathan, was attentive from start to finish, checked on me regularly, made recommendations and made sure I had everything I needed without having to flag him down. Great service like that is hard to find these days, and it really makes a difference. The atmosphere was nice too, with a live band that added to the experience. Overall: the food was okay, but the service was excellent. I'd come back for the atmosphere and Jonathan's outstanding service.

The wings were absolutely delicious. Service was was good, till it was time to get the check. We had to go look for waitress to get check. Had a mojito and it tastes like tonic and also a gin and tonic that tastes just like tonic. Food was delicious but don't buy a drink unless it's something that does not have to be mixed. I would say this. I would definitely go back for the food.

Stopped here after a drive through Jacksonville, I cant turn down a waterfront bar and grill! Had a great time with strangers who made me feel like I should move down there! My food was PIPING HOT and my drinks were phenomenal. The outside bar staff is super nice and accommodating. Can't wait to go back!

1 hour drive from our home. The location on the intercostal water is amazing for lunch , the food was delicious. Fried shrimp huge. Maui sandwhich moist. We sat on the patio. Would have been best part but ceiling fans would have made it better, service could have been more attentive and checked in more Will be back for sure. Deferred maintenance may be catching up with this place Wood rot on exterior and bathroom.
