I love Mars Hill Church! Pastor Gann preaches God’s Word straight out of the Bible. Candice and the band do a great job leading worship-love her voice! This is a very warm, friendly church. I hope you come check us out!
This is more than a church, it’s a family! The pastor is humble and authentic, and preaches directly from the Bible each week. There’s opportunities for us and our kids to connect and grow in our faith. It’s a very loving place - they love Jesus and they love people. We have been coming for 6 years and can’t imaging going anywhere else.
Mars Hill Church is a wonderful place to find, celebrate & worship God. Very friendly people, Wonderful Bible based teaching & preaching. Beautiful music to sing & enjoy. A fantastic children's ministry, that will cherish your kids. And fully vetted volunteers. A Godly Pastor & Elders who really care about people. Lots of opportunities to grow,fellowship & serve our community * You can wear your suit or your jeans & either way,you will be loved. You can be a long-time Christ follower or someone who needs more answers. Either way,you are accepted. You can be Black,White,Hispanic,Asian. Once again, cherished & welcomed. * We found this church by "accident" & were not looking for a new place to worship.But the warmth & love of these people & the exceptional Bible based teaching & opportunities to serve our community, made us want to be there. It has been amazing to be a part of Mars Hill,Jacksonville.Life changing in such a lovely way. Check it out ,online or in person. You will be blessed!
Visited for the first time last weekend and I’m pleased to say that I enjoyed the sermon, Pastor, and whole church atmosphere. The band and singers were perfectly in sound with each other, neither too loud nor too soft. Music was uplifting and powerful! Excited to attend again this Sunday and listen to Gods word!
