Marker 8 Hotel & Marina

I had an amazing 2-night stay at Marker 8 Hotel and Marina in St. Augustine, and I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. I stayed in room 209, and the view was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, scenic, and the perfect way to start and end each day. The housekeeping team was very attentive, making sure everything was spotless and comfortable throughout my stay. The room itself was extremely clean and well-maintained, which made a big difference. What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone, including the front desk team, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their attitude made the experience even better. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, the staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious with an excellent presentation. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again! ❤️

We have stayed here many times. The rooms are clean and the views are beautiful. But it's the staff that keeps us coming back. Every time, they go out of their way to make our stay perfect. From Samantha & Gina taking our reservations (Gina holding my clothes for a week that I forgot in a drawer) Darren & Gary at the front desk, always patient with a big smile and the ladies in the restaurant. Everyone is so friendly. It's our favorite place :)))

This was our first time visiting St. Augustine and we really had no idea where to stay. We knew we wanted a water view and the Marker 8 definitely offered that. All of the staff were extremely friendly, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was quieter than expected, and the included breakfast was fabulous. The only downside was the 10 minute walk back across the bridge at the end of the night carrying all of the stuff we bought 😅 There is a small spa pool that is heated and has jets you can turn on.

The rooms need maintenance, the shower floor was kinda dirty, the lamp shades are broken and rusty. The room had a bit of a smell and the ac had a hard time keeping the room Cool. The breakfast was great and she is amazing. The views from the rooms are great, the hotel needs maintenance, it feels forgotten.
