  I found Marija through the Telemed program my insurance covered a few years ago. I have been treated by several different psychiatrists over many years, and always kind of felt like a guinea pig; they would ask me their 20 questions, tweak my prescription, charge me an insane amount for $15 minutes and that was it. So, based on my experiences with them, wasn't expecting to find my "right person" through Telemed, but I did! When we had to change insurances, I didn't have access to her anymore and the platform wouldn't assist me in doing so. I had been seeing her over a year and she is the only psychiatrist who listens and cares about how you feel. It’s not just clinical with her and I never felt like a guinea pig! She is also the first one that actually wants to see me get to the least amount of meds possible (which is my goal), while staying as healthy as possible. So, I googled her and found her private practice in FL. I reached out, and over time, was successful in getting a hold of her and continuing to use her as my psychiatrist. She had to make sure there was not a conflict in interest with the insurance companies, and there is not! My insurance doesn't pay for mental health, but she is worth paying out of pocket in my opinion. She is kind, she is caring, she is professional, she is an expert in her field. She doesn't just ask the questions that have to be asked in order to give me my meds, she asks about me, in a holistic way. I have never felt so heard. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a psychiatrist, or hormone replacement professional. I am now using her to also assist with my hormone therapy since I am post menopause. I feel like I am getting a truly personalized and caring approach to my mental health and that I am the healthiest I have been in a very long time!
